1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Dynamic Hip for iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro, its documentation, support materials, exports and related Orthopractis pages (“Dynamic Hip,” “the app,” or “the service”). By installing, opening, accessing or using Dynamic Hip, you agree to these Terms and the Dynamic Hip Privacy Policy.
If you use the app for or through a hospital, clinic, university, research organization, employer or other institution, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that both you and the institution will comply with these Terms, applicable law, professional duties and institutional policy.
Do not use the app if you do not agree to these Terms.
2. Intended users
Dynamic Hip is intended primarily for appropriately trained healthcare professionals, authorized clinical team members, researchers, educators, medical students, residents, trainees and supervised operators. The app is not intended for unsupervised patient self-diagnosis, self-treatment, emergency decision-making, or use by children as independent app users.
Use of the app does not create a doctor-patient relationship, professional-client relationship, research sponsorship, regulatory authorization, or clinical responsibility on the part of Orthopractis.
3. Intended function
Dynamic Hip is a professional measurement, education, visualization, documentation and planning-sensitivity aid. The app can support a user in:
• importing or capturing a suitable image;
• calibrating a working image with a known marker;
• registering a fixed 19-point anatomical sequence;
• calculating retained Dynamic Hip / Hip Biomechanics geometry;
• comparing bilateral results and age/sex reference values;
• displaying modelled load, contact area and pressure relationships;
• displaying complete sigma and theta graph series;
• applying reversible femoral translations and rotations in a separate scenario layer;
• creating an explanatory projected or immersive 3D representation;
• applying a separate Biomechanics planning/sensitivity layer;
• reviewing acetabular reorientation or osteotomy sensitivity;
• reviewing operator-entered hip-arthroplasty orientation and head-size sensitivity;
• displaying model-derived force, estimated mean stress and edge-loading sensitivity graphs;
• applying an optional Suggestions layer with entered maturity, degeneration, congruency and symptom context;
• displaying an educational load/pressure matrix pathway and bounded reversible femoral candidate;
• displaying green target geometry and guided correction steps in 2D, volume and immersive space; and
• exporting a report, CSV/table data or annotated image at the user’s direction.
Dynamic Hip is not a substitute for professional training, clinical examination, diagnosis, complete imaging, validated templating, finite-element analysis, navigation, robotic planning, an approved medical device, institutional protocols, or independent surgical judgment.
4. Medical and clinical disclaimer
Dynamic Hip does not provide medical advice and must not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, prognosis, treatment selection, operative indication, osteotomy design, implant selection, implant size, component position, surgical approach, navigation, postoperative clearance, emergency care, or any decision that may affect a patient.
All app outputs must be independently checked by an appropriately qualified professional before they are used in clinical discussion, documentation, research, education or planning. The professional must review the original image and consider image quality, projection, calibration, patient positioning, anatomy, pathology, clinical history, physical examination, other imaging, current evidence, institutional standards and applicable professional guidance.
If a measurement, graph, simulated plan, pressure field, table pathway, optimization candidate, guided step, export or other result appears inconsistent, incomplete, implausible or unsafe, do not rely on it. Recheck the image, calibration, points, side, profile, settings, formulas, assumptions and source data. Use an alternative validated method where appropriate.
The app is not intended for emergencies. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified healthcare provider.
5. Methodology and assumptions
The user acknowledges the following core characteristics and limitations.
A. Image and calibration dependency
Results depend on the quality and projection of the selected image, the known calibration marker, the marker location, orientation normalization, magnification, patient positioning and the accuracy of every point placed by the operator.
B. Fixed anatomical registration
The retained workflow uses a fixed 19-point sequence. Point labels are anatomical names, not arbitrary simulation handles. The operator must place each point at the intended anatomical location and review it at appropriate zoom.
C. Modelled load and pressure
Load, contact area and pressure are mathematical model outputs. They are not direct readings from cartilage, a pressure sensor, an implant, an instrumented prosthesis, a force plate, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, gait analysis or a laboratory system.
D. Reference values
Reference rows, percentages, relationships and graph deviations are comparison aids. They do not independently establish normality, abnormality, diagnosis, severity, operative indication or expected outcome.
E. Reversible femoral scenario
The dynamic femoral scenario moves only the calculation copy of selected femoral landmarks. Registered anatomy remains unchanged. In-plane changes may recalculate the retained 2D equations. Depth and axial rotation affect the spatial representation and vector direction but do not create a validated CT-derived correction to the scalar 2D model.
F. Radiograph-based 3D assumption
The Apple Vision Pro and projected 3D views are explanatory spatial constructions based on calibrated 2D points and explicit depth assumptions. Unless independently supplied by the operator, the model does not contain measured patient-specific volumetric anatomy. The native femoral-head Z diameter is assumed equal to the measured XY diameter. The true origin is placed at the current XYZ midpoint between the two femoral-head centres.
G. Biomechanics planning layer
The optional Biomechanics section is a third layer above registered anatomy and the reversible femoral scenario. It does not overwrite the 19 registered points or the original v8 result.
Acetabular reorientation rotates a planning copy of E/A/V/D together around the femoral-head centre and recalculates the retained equations. It does not define osteotomy cuts, fragment translation, fixation, posterior or anterior coverage, version, impingement, cartilage condition, vascular risk, nerve risk, stability or surgical safety.
Hip-arthroplasty inputs, including cup inclination, cup anteversion, stem anteversion, implant head diameter and load multiplier, are entered manually by the operator. They are not automatically measured from a single frontal radiograph.
The app may convert modelled kg-equivalent load to newtons using standard gravity and may divide force by modelled contact area to estimate mean stress in MPa. This is a transparent mathematical conversion, not a measured or validated peak cartilage stress, liner stress, bone stress, implant stress or finite-element result.
The edge-loading graph reports how the same model responds when the effective supporting angle or component inclination is varied. It is a sensitivity study and not a validated risk score, wear prediction, instability prediction, safe zone, regulatory claim or guarantee.
The red 3D pressure field maps the retained theta-pressure sensitivity onto a spherical head surface for spatial review. It is not a patient-specific pressure map, contact-mechanics solution, material model or instrumented measurement.
H. Suggestions and bounded femoral optimization
The optional Suggestions section is a fourth layer. It interprets a user-supplied load/pressure matrix together with model-relative ratios and operator-entered skeletal maturity, degeneration, femoral-head congruency and symptom context. The displayed ratio bands reproduce the supplied visual categories and are not diagnostic thresholds, universal reference ranges, or treatment indications.
Chronological age does not select an operation. The user must verify triradiate-cartilage status and complete the relevant clinical and imaging assessment. The app does not recommend a named pelvic or femoral osteotomy, define a cut, determine fixation, prescribe an implant, or establish a clinically achievable correction.
The bounded optimizer searches only a reversible copy of lateral position/offset, superior-inferior height, and side-aware coronal angle. Depth and axial rotation are retained unless independently entered. The objective balances model-relative load, pressure, edge sensitivity and penalties for large changes. A mathematical minimum, including a green target overlay, is not an operative target, navigation instruction, wear prediction, or validated patient-specific optimum. Applying a candidate changes only the reversible scenario and never overwrites registered anatomy.
The arthroplasty interpretation discusses possible relationships among hip centre, global/femoral offset, abductor lever arm, height, coverage, cup orientation, stability, edge loading and wear sensitivity. It cannot predict liner wear, ceramic stripe wear, corrosion, loosening, dislocation, implant survival or a universal safe zone.
I. Combined anteversion
If displayed, combined anteversion is a descriptor derived from user-entered cup and stem values. No single formula or target range is universally applicable to every patient, implant, approach, posture or surgical objective. The app does not present a universal safe zone.
6. Appropriate use in orthopaedic planning
Dynamic Hip may be used as one component of a broader professional workflow, for example to:
• document a calibrated preoperative baseline;
• compare left and right hip geometry;
• study how a proposed correction changes the retained model;
• discuss centre-edge coverage and acetabular reorientation sensitivity;
• review centre-of-rotation, lateral shift, vertical shift and depth assumptions;
• compare proposed arthroplasty component inputs with the registered baseline;
• review contact-area, load and pressure-sensitivity curves;
• teach measurement methodology and biomechanical relationships;
• create an auditable report of inputs, outputs and assumptions; or
• support research or quality-improvement work under an appropriate protocol.
These uses do not remove the need for validated radiographic analysis, CT or MRI where indicated, templating, implant-specific guidance, stability and impingement assessment, leg-length and offset analysis, torsion assessment, clinical examination, informed consent, regulatory compliance and surgeon judgment.
7. Preoperative and postoperative use
Preoperative use
The user must verify that the selected image is suitable, calibrated and acquired according to the intended protocol. A planning sensitivity result must be reviewed together with the original measurements and any additional imaging.
Postoperative use
A postoperative image must be registered as a separate measurement. Differences can be compared by the professional using exported values and the clinical record. Dynamic Hip does not automatically diagnose loosening, migration, wear, fracture, infection, instability, impingement, adverse tissue reaction, dislocation risk or implant failure.
8. User responsibilities
You are responsible for:
• using the app only within your training, competence, professional authorization and institutional permissions;
• selecting an appropriate image;
• confirming patient identity outside the app without adding unnecessary identifiers to exports;
• obtaining required consent or authorization;
• verifying calibration and every registered point;
• confirming left/right side and calculation pass;
• reviewing all profile, scenario, Biomechanics and Suggestions inputs;
• understanding the equations and assumptions before relying on an output;
• reviewing every table pathway, optimization candidate, guided step, chart, 3D object, arrow, label and export;
• maintaining secure device access;
• complying with privacy, confidentiality, professional secrecy, research, medical-device and record-retention obligations;
• protecting exports and backups;
• using appropriate additional tools and imaging; and
• making all clinical and surgical decisions independently.
9. Image, patient-data and confidentiality responsibilities
You must have the legal and professional right to use every image and data item processed through Dynamic Hip. Do not import, capture, retain, export or send another person’s data without appropriate authority.
Use de-identified images where possible. Do not send patient-identifying information to Orthopractis through ordinary support email unless you are authorized to do so and the method is appropriate. Review the Dynamic Hip Privacy Policy before using the app.
If you use the app through an institution, that institution may be the data controller or responsible entity and must determine the applicable legal basis, patient information, safeguards, retention, impact assessment and security requirements.
10. License
Subject to these Terms and the applicable Apple Media Services terms, Orthopractis grants you a limited, personal or authorized-institutional, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on compatible Apple devices that you own or control, or that you are authorized to use.
You may not:
• copy, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or commercially exploit the app except as permitted by law or a written agreement;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits;
• remove proprietary notices;
• use the app to infringe rights, violate law, misrepresent clinical validity, or create unsafe instructions;
• claim that Orthopractis has approved a diagnosis, plan, implant, technique or operation;
• use exported material to falsely represent a regulatory clearance or clinical validation;
• interfere with app security or platform operation; or
• use the app for unlawful surveillance, unauthorized data processing or harmful activity.
11. Intellectual property
Dynamic Hip, its source code, interface, logo, artwork, documentation, calculation implementation, text and other materials are owned by or licensed to Orthopractis and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Patient images and user-provided data remain subject to the rights of their lawful owners and controllers.
The app may use Apple technologies, system symbols and frameworks under Apple’s applicable terms.
12. User exports
You control whether to create, save or share an export. Orthopractis does not endorse or verify a recipient, cloud provider, email system, messaging service, printer, record system or other destination selected by you.
An export may contain sensitive health information, modelled values, planning assumptions, Suggestions context, optimization candidates, guided steps and warnings. Do not remove warnings in a way that makes a sensitivity estimate appear to be a direct measurement or a definitive clinical instruction.
13. Support and updates
Support is available through info@orthopractis.com and https://www.orthopractis.com/dynamichip. Orthopractis may update, correct, improve, restrict or discontinue features. Operating-system, device, SDK and App Store changes may affect availability or appearance.
Orthopractis does not guarantee that every legacy device, simulator, image type, export destination or future platform version will remain supported. Users must validate a new app or operating-system version before clinical use.
14. Regulatory status
The availability of Dynamic Hip in an app store does not by itself establish medical-device clearance, certification or authorization. Orthopractis and institutional users must separately determine the regulatory status and obligations that apply in each country or region.
If Orthopractis obtains a regulatory clearance or certification for a specific version, indication and jurisdiction, only the official cleared documentation defines that status. No other use, feature, statement, export or planning sensitivity should be treated as cleared by implication.
15. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dynamic Hip is provided “as is” and “as available.” Orthopractis does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, fit for a particular clinical purpose, accurate for every patient or image, compatible with every device, or sufficient for diagnosis, treatment or surgery.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orthopractis will not be liable for an indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss; loss of data; loss of profit; loss of opportunity; business interruption; clinical delay; or a decision made from an unverified output.
The user and responsible professional retain responsibility for patient care, interpretation, planning, diagnosis, treatment and operative execution. No limitation applies where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights or liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or other non-excludable grounds.
17. Indemnity for unauthorized or unlawful use
To the extent permitted by law, an institutional or professional user agrees to be responsible for claims, losses or costs arising from that user’s unauthorized, unlawful or materially misleading use of the app, patient data or exports, except to the extent caused by Orthopractis and not lawfully assignable to the user.
18. Third-party services and links
Dynamic Hip may open or interact with Apple Photos, Files, camera, share sheet, email, cloud destinations, App Store, Orthopractis web pages, Wix-hosted pages or other services selected by the user. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Orthopractis is not responsible for a third-party service that it does not control.
19. Suspension and termination
Orthopractis may suspend support or terminate a license where required by law, platform rules, security, intellectual-property protection, material breach, misuse or discontinuation. You may stop using the app at any time and may delete it from your devices. Deletion does not automatically remove exports, backups or data stored in another system.
20. Apple App Store terms
Where Dynamic Hip is obtained through Apple’s App Store:
• these Terms are between you and Orthopractis, not Apple;
• Orthopractis, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content, subject to these Terms;
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
• if the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, to the extent required by Apple’s terms and applicable law; Apple has no other warranty obligation to the maximum extent permitted by law;
• Orthopractis, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal or regulatory, and consumer-protection claims, subject to applicable law;
• Orthopractis, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of an intellectual-property infringement claim relating to the app;
• you represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to an applicable United States Government embargo and are not listed on an applicable prohibited or restricted-party list;
• you must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app; and
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the App Store provisions against you.
21. Governing law and disputes
Subject to mandatory consumer, employment, healthcare, privacy and other non-waivable laws, these Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. The courts of Thessaloniki, Greece will have jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives the user a mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting info@orthopractis.com, unless urgent relief or a mandatory procedure applies.
22. Severability and entire agreement
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any applicable written institutional or licensing agreement form the agreement concerning the app. A written signed agreement takes priority where it expressly states that it overrides these Terms.
23. Changes to these Terms
Orthopractis may update these Terms to reflect app changes, legal requirements, Apple requirements, regulatory developments, security, support processes or new features. The current version will be posted at https://www.orthopractis.com/terms-of-use or another stable Orthopractis terms page with an updated effective date. Material changes should also be reflected in the in-app disclosure before release.

DYNAMIC GONIOMETER AR TERMS OF USE

1. AGREEMENT
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern use of Dynamic Goniometer AR (the “App”), published by ORTHOPRACTIS.COM SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (“Orthopractis”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By selecting Accept and continue or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The App presents this consent on every fresh launch. If you do not agree, select Decline and close and do not use the App.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND INTENDED USERS
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. The App is intended primarily for qualified healthcare, rehabilitation and related professionals or other trained adult users acting within their competence and authority. It is not designed for independent use by children.
3. PURPOSE AND IMPORTANT MEDICAL LIMITATIONS
The App uses augmented reality and three printed image markers to assist observation of joint angle and range of motion. It is a measurement-support tool. It does not diagnose a disease or condition, prescribe or recommend treatment, replace physical examination, provide emergency guidance, or replace the user’s clinical judgment, professional duties, validated procedures or applicable medical-device requirements. It is not for primary image interpretation.
Never rely on an App output as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, discharge, surgery, rehabilitation progression, emergency action or any decision affecting health or safety. Independently review each result for plausibility and confirm it with suitable clinical methods when required. Stop use if results are inconsistent, tracking is unstable or the setup is unsuitable.
Regulatory classification and permitted use can differ by country and intended purpose. Orthopractis does not represent through these Terms that the App has a specific medical-device authorization, certification or registration. The publisher and professional user must separately ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, institutional policies and device requirements in each place of use.
4. OPERATING REQUIREMENTS AND MEASUREMENT LIMITATIONS
Correct operation requires, at minimum:
• an ARCore-compatible Android device or supported iOS device, a functioning rear camera and current required AR services;
• the three supplied unique markers printed at exactly 4 × 4 cm without scaling;
• correct proximal, middle and distal marker identification and placement;
• markers that remain flat, visible and sufficiently separated;
• appropriate lighting, focus, contrast, camera distance, viewing angle and stable tracking; and
• a movement/setup that does not introduce unsafe positioning or occlusion.
Results can be affected by printer scaling, paper deformation, marker placement, skin/soft-tissue motion, perspective, occlusion, reflections, blur, camera calibration, sensor error, tracking loss, device performance, software versions and user technique. Displayed precision does not guarantee clinical accuracy. The user is responsible for checking the setup, identifying tracking loss and validating results.
5. PATIENT OR SUBJECT AUTHORIZATION AND SAFE USE
Before placing markers, observing a person or capturing an image, obtain all informed consent, authorization and institutional approval required by law and professional rules. Protect dignity and privacy. Do not include unnecessary identifiers in the camera view. Do not use the App in a way that creates a physical hazard, distracts from patient care or interferes with other equipment.
The professional or organization using the App is responsible for patient selection, marker hygiene and attachment, infection-control procedures, device cleaning, record handling, access controls, retention and lawful sharing. The supplied markers are information images, not sterile medical accessories.
6. CAMERA, ARCORE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App requires camera access. The Android version runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), provided by Google and governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and terms. ARCore automatically collects required identifiers, diagnostic/performance data and ARCore API usage/app activity as described by Google. The current App does not enable Cloud Anchors or the Geospatial API.
Google Play, Android, ARCore, Apple, iOS, device manufacturers, browser providers and any storage, backup or sharing service chosen by the user are third-party services with separate terms and privacy practices. Orthopractis does not control their availability or processing.
7. SAVED IMAGES, EXPORTS AND RECORDS
SAVE writes a screenshot of the visible App screen to the device photo library. It may contain a person, surroundings, AR graphics and health-related measurements. EXPORT writes the marker images. Orthopractis does not automatically receive these files. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to save, retain, use, copy, back up or share them and for applying appropriate consent, confidentiality, record-management and security controls.
The App is not represented as an electronic health record, diagnostic report generator or guaranteed archival system. Verify that any required record was saved correctly and remains readable. Maintain required records through approved systems.
8. LICENSE AND ACCEPTABLE USE
Subject to these Terms, Orthopractis grants you a limited, personal or internal-professional, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you control for its documented purpose. You may print the supplied markers for use with the App.
You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits: sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the App or marker assets; circumvent security or store controls; use the App to violate rights or laws; introduce malicious code; misrepresent results or regulatory status; remove ownership notices; or reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the App.
9. OWNERSHIP
The App, software, graphics, markers, documentation, branding and related intellectual-property rights belong to Orthopractis or its licensors. These Terms grant only the limited use rights stated above. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
10. UPDATES, AVAILABILITY AND TERMINATION
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features to address compatibility, safety, legal, security or operational needs. Device/OS/AR service updates can affect tracking. You are responsible for using supported versions and reviewing updated notices. We may terminate the license for material breach. On termination, stop using and uninstall the App, without affecting provisions intended to survive.
11. SUPPORT
Support information is available at https://www.orthopractis.com/dynamic-goniometer-app and info@orthopractis.com. Do not send patient-identifiable or sensitive health information in ordinary support email. Support does not constitute medical advice or guarantee a particular result or response time.
12. DISCLAIMERS
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. ORTHOPRACTIS DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION. NO AR SYSTEM OR SOFTWARE MEASUREMENT IS GUARANTEED TO BE ACCURATE IN EVERY DEVICE, SETUP OR CLINICAL SITUATION.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORTHOPRACTIS AND ITS OFFICERS, PERSONNEL, LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE LOSS; LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, BUSINESS OR OPPORTUNITY; OR ANY CLINICAL, TREATMENT OR RECORD-KEEPING DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON THE APP.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including where applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
14. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, a business, professional or institutional user agrees to indemnify Orthopractis against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from unlawful use, lack of required patient authorization, misuse of outputs, breach of these Terms or violation of professional/regulatory duties, except to the extent caused by Orthopractis’s own unlawful conduct.
15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user’s country. The competent courts are determined under applicable law. Before formal proceedings, contact info@orthopractis.com so the parties can attempt to resolve the matter.
16. CHANGES
We may revise these Terms. The updated version and date will be published at https://www.orthopractis.com/terms-of-use. Material changes may also be disclosed in the App. Continued use after the effective date requires acceptance of the current Terms presented at launch.
17. GENERAL
If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; Orthopractis may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the App, subject to law. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any mandatory store terms form the agreement concerning the App.

1. ACCEPTANCE
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of Hip Biomechanics for iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro, its documentation, help content, reports, data tables, annotated-image exports, support materials and related Orthopractis web pages.
Hip Biomechanics presents an authorization, privacy and professional-responsibility consent form after every fresh app launch. By selecting all required acknowledgements and opening the workspace, or by otherwise using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy for the current running app session.
Acceptance is not stored as a permanent preference. If you do not agree, do not open or use the measurement workspace.
If you use the app for or on behalf of a hospital, clinic, university, research institution, company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind yourself to these Terms and to follow that organization's policies, approvals and data-governance requirements.
3. INTENDED USERS
The app is intended for appropriately qualified adult healthcare professionals, authorized clinical-team members, supervised trainees, educators and researchers.
It is not intended for:
• Children as app users.
• Unsupervised patients or consumer self-diagnosis.
• Emergency diagnosis or emergency treatment decisions.
• Autonomous diagnosis, treatment selection or surgical decision-making.
• Primary interpretation of a radiograph.
• Use as the sole basis for patient care.
By using the app, you confirm that you have the training, supervision and professional authorization appropriate to the task you perform.
4. PROFESSIONAL AND REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITY
Hip Biomechanics is a professional measurement, calculation and educational aid. It does not replace a complete history, examination, validated image acquisition, clinical judgment, specialist consultation, institutionally approved planning systems or other verification required by professional standards.
Regulatory classification and permitted use can vary by country, setting, software version and intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms is a claim of regulatory authorization beyond an authorization expressly documented by Orthopractis for the applicable product, version and jurisdiction.
You are responsible for determining whether and how the app may lawfully be used in your jurisdiction and clinical or research setting.
5. LICENSE
Subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store license rules, Orthopractis grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, or that your organization authorizes you to use, solely for lawful professional, educational or research purposes.
No ownership right in the app, source code, design, documentation, calculation implementation, graphics, trademarks or other intellectual property is transferred to you.
6. MEASUREMENT WORKFLOW
The app allows the operator to import or capture an image, enter subject and calibration values, position a concentric selector, register the required anatomical points, review geometric constructions, and generate calculated outputs, graphs, reports and exports.
You are solely responsible for:
• Using a suitable frontal pelvic image of adequate quality and projection.
• Confirming that the image and data may lawfully be processed.
• Verifying the calibration object and entered calibration dimension.
• Entering accurate age, reference sex, height and weight values.
• Placing every calibration and anatomical point correctly.
• Confirming side assignment and all drawn constructions.
• Reviewing every numerical result, graph, arrow, arc, label, report and export.
• Repeating or independently checking a measurement when quality or plausibility is uncertain.
7. LOAD, PRESSURE AND OTHER MODEL OUTPUTS
The app's load and pressure values are mathematical model estimates. They are derived from the selected radiograph, calibration, entered subject values, anatomical-point placement and assumptions in the original Hip Biomechanics method.
They are not direct measurements from an implanted sensor, force plate, pressure transducer or other physical measuring instrument.
In particular:
• G5 is a model-derived partial-body-weight value used by the calculation method.
• R/G5 is a dimensionless modelled resultant joint-load relationship.
• R is a model-derived load result reported using the original method's convention.
• F0 is a calculated contact-surface estimate.
• P/G5 is a relative pressure relationship calculated from modelled load and contact surface.
• Cyan load arrows and red pressure arrows are graphical representations of model calculations, not direct physical sensor recordings.
• Reference curves, signed deviations and ±15% comparisons are numerical comparisons within the app; they do not by themselves define normality, disease, treatment indication or expected outcome.
No model output may be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, operative planning, treatment selection, prognosis or patient management.
8. LIMITATIONS OF THE METHOD
Results can be materially affected by image rotation, pelvic tilt, projection, magnification, calibration error, visible anatomy, image resolution, cropping, operator point placement, subject-value entry, side selection, biological variation and the assumptions of the calculation model.
A visually plausible overlay does not prove that the underlying input or result is correct. You must assess clinical plausibility and, where appropriate, compare with validated tools, repeat measurements, peer review, source publications and other clinical information.
9. LOCAL PROCESSING AND RECOVERY
The current release is designed to perform the core image and measurement workflow locally on the device. To reduce accidental loss, the app saves an active recovery session in its private Application Support area.
The recovery session may include the normalized working image, source description, subject values, point coordinates, point history, selector state and view settings. It is restored only after the launch consent form is accepted again.
Loading a different image replaces the active recovery session. Using Remove image deletes it. Deleting the app or its local data generally removes app-local recovery data, subject to operating-system, managed-device, backup and third-party file behavior.
You remain responsible for device security, institutional storage rules, retention, backups, deletion and any exported copies. Orthopractis does not promise that recovery will succeed after every crash, device failure, operating-system problem, storage error, app removal or hardware loss.
10. PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY AND AUTHORIZATION
Use only images and information that you are legally and professionally authorized to process. Follow applicable privacy, medical-confidentiality, research, institutional and data-protection requirements.
Prefer de-identified images and filenames. Remember that information burned into image pixels remains visible even when embedded metadata is not copied into the working bitmap.
The launch acknowledgement is not a substitute for patient consent, an Article 6 or Article 9 GDPR basis, HIPAA or other regulated-entity safeguards, institutional approval, ethics approval, a business-associate agreement, a data-processing agreement, or any other authorization that may apply.
Do not send identifiable patient images or confidential health information to ordinary support email. Review the Privacy Policy before use.
11. EXPORTS AND SHARING
The app can prepare reports, data tables and annotated images for user-controlled export. You decide whether, where and with whom to share an export.
Before sharing, verify accuracy, remove unnecessary identifiers, confirm the recipient and use an approved secure destination. Once an export is sent to Files, iCloud, AirDrop, email, messaging, cloud storage, printing or another service, that copy is controlled by the selected destination and your organization, not by the app's local recovery controls.
You are responsible for deleting exports from all destinations when they are no longer required.
12. SUPPORT
Support is available through the support page and info@orthopractis.com. Support may cover installation, interface use, documentation and technical defects.
Orthopractis does not provide emergency care, patient-specific medical advice, a second clinical opinion, or confirmation that a particular result is safe or appropriate for a patient.
Do not send confidential clinical material through ordinary email unless Orthopractis has expressly agreed to an appropriate secure process.
13. PROHIBITED USE
You must not:
• Use the app unlawfully or outside your professional competence or supervision.
• Use it as an autonomous diagnostic or treatment system.
• Use it as the sole basis for a clinical or surgical decision.
• Process an image or personal information without appropriate authority.
• Share confidential information through an insecure or unauthorized route.
• Misrepresent an app result as a direct physical measurement or guaranteed clinical fact.
• Remove or obscure ownership, copyright, trademark or legal notices.
• Copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract source code from, or create derivative works of the app except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits and does not allow that restriction to be waived.
• Circumvent security, licensing, platform or usage restrictions.
• Use the app to develop, validate or train a competing product through unauthorized extraction of the software, interface, calculations or protected content.
• Introduce malware, overload services, interfere with other users or attempt unauthorized access.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The app and related materials are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, database, trade-secret and other intellectual-property laws.
"Hip Biomechanics", "Orthopractis", logos, interface elements and product names may be trademarks or protected identifiers. No right to use them is granted except as necessary to identify the lawfully obtained app.
Clinical publications and cited scientific methods remain subject to their respective authors' and publishers' rights. The app's inclusion of a reference does not transfer rights in the referenced work.
15. FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, comments or non-confidential feedback about the app, you grant Orthopractis permission to use that feedback to improve products and documentation without payment or obligation, provided that this does not transfer ownership of your confidential clinical data.
Do not include patient-identifying or confidential information in feedback.
16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The app may interact with Apple system services such as Photos, Files, Camera, App Store, iCloud, AirDrop and the share sheet, and may link to Wix-hosted pages, email or other third-party services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy practices, availability and security. Orthopractis is not responsible for a third party's content, service interruption, storage, processing or deletion practices.
17. APPLE PLATFORM TERMS
The app is distributed for Apple platforms. Apple's applicable App Store terms and Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply in addition to these Terms unless a valid custom license agreement supersedes them for the relevant region.
These Terms are between you and Orthopractis, not Apple. Orthopractis, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its support to the extent stated here and required by applicable law. Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of applicable license terms and may enforce those terms as permitted by the Apple agreements.
18. UPDATES, COMPATIBILITY AND AVAILABILITY
Orthopractis may correct, update, redesign, replace or discontinue features, documentation, calculations, supported operating systems or the app itself. An update may be required for compatibility, security, legal compliance or support.
The app may not work on every device, operating-system version, image format, managed-device configuration or future Apple platform. Orthopractis does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent compatibility.
Material changes to the legal notices can be presented through the consent form at a later fresh launch.
19. NO WARRANTY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app and related materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, data recovery or clinical outcome.
Orthopractis does not warrant that every calculation, drawing, reference value, report, export or recovery file will be error-free, complete or suitable for a particular patient, institution, study or procedure.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orthopractis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for loss of data, revenue, profit, opportunity, reputation, research material or clinical workflow, arising from or related to the app or an inability to use it.
The operator remains responsible for independent professional verification and final decisions. Orthopractis is not responsible for loss or harm caused by unsuitable imaging, inaccurate inputs, incorrect point placement, unreviewed outputs, unauthorized data processing, insecure exports, third-party services, device failure or use outside the intended professional workflow.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by mandatory law. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude or limit.
21. INDEMNITY FOR UNLAWFUL OR UNAUTHORIZED USE
To the extent permitted by law and, for organizational users, subject to applicable public-sector and institutional rules, you agree to be responsible for claims, costs or losses arising from your unlawful use, unauthorized data processing, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of these Terms.
This section does not reduce any non-waivable consumer or statutory right.
22. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Your permission to use the app ends if you materially breach these Terms or lose the legal or professional authority required for the workflow. You must then stop using the app and, where appropriate, remove it and securely manage any retained exports or local data.
Provisions concerning privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law and any terms that by their nature should survive will continue after termination.
23. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without excluding mandatory rights that apply under the law of another country.
Courts located in Greece may have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer, professional, medical, privacy or procedural law provides a different mandatory forum.
Before beginning formal proceedings, contact info@orthopractis.com so the parties can attempt to resolve the issue informally. This does not prevent an urgent application or limit any non-waivable right to contact a regulator, supervisory authority or court.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Orthopractis may update these Terms to reflect app changes, legal requirements, platform rules, security practices, support processes or business changes.
The current version will be posted at https://www.orthopractis.com/terms-of-use with an updated effective or last-updated date. Because consent is required after every fresh launch, updated in-app terms can be presented before the user re-enters the workspace.
25. SEVERABILITY AND NO WAIVER
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
26. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, the Hip Biomechanics Privacy Policy, the applicable Apple platform terms, and any separately accepted written institutional agreement form the agreement governing use of the app.
A separately signed written agreement controls to the extent it expressly conflicts with these Terms.

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the app on supported Apple devices you own or control.
5. INTENDED PURPOSE
The app is intended for visualization, education, research, demonstration, engineering evaluation, software testing, and professional image review.
6. NOT A DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE
Unless explicitly stated in separate legally authorized product documentation, this release is not intended as a stand-alone diagnostic medical device, certified radiology workstation, surgical planning system, or replacement for professional clinical judgment.
7. PROHIBITED RELIANCE
Do not use the app as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, patient selection, surgical planning, navigation, emergency decisions, medication, or any action affecting health or safety.
8. USER VERIFICATION
You must independently verify image orientation, patient identity, series selection, dimensions, spacing, acquisition parameters, rendering presets, clipping, crop bounds, transfer functions, and output against an appropriate reference system.
9. DATA AUTHORIZATION
You may import only files you are legally authorized to access and process. You are responsible for confidentiality, consent, data minimization, de-identification, institutional approval, research authorization, and compliance with applicable laws.
10. DICOM COMPATIBILITY
DICOM is complex and permits many transfer syntaxes, private tags, vendor extensions, encodings, image organizations, and metadata patterns. The app does not guarantee compatibility with every dataset.
11. RENDERING LIMITATIONS
Volume rendering is a visualization technique. Presets, window and level, opacity, quality, sampling, interpolation, transfer functions, clipping, cropping, memory reduction, and device characteristics may alter appearance. Hidden or visible structures do not establish a clinical finding.
12. ADAPTIVE PROCESSING
The app may crop empty borders, reduce resolution, sample slices, limit voxels, or reduce quality to protect memory and performance. Users must review any status message describing adaptive processing.
13. IMMERSIVE USE
When using Apple Vision Pro, maintain awareness of the physical environment. Do not use the app where visual immersion could create risk to people, sterile fields, equipment, traffic, stairs, or obstacles.
14. NO EMERGENCY USE
The app is not designed for emergency response, time-critical clinical care, or life-supporting functions.
15. SUPPORT
We may provide documentation and reasonable technical support but do not guarantee response times, study compatibility, data recovery, or a solution for every issue.
16. UPDATES
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features. Updates may change compatibility, requirements, UI, and performance.
17. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
The app may use Apple frameworks and open-source components. Third-party notices and licenses apply in addition to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted under an applicable open-source license.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The app, branding, documentation, original code, graphics, and content are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors, except for third-party components. No ownership is transferred.
19. RESTRICTIONS
Except where law or an open-source license permits, you may not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, bypass technical restrictions, remove notices, misuse the app, or use it to violate rights or law.
20. FEEDBACK
If you provide ideas or feedback, you grant us permission to use them without obligation, while we will not intentionally claim ownership of your confidential patient data.
21. PRIVACY
Use of the app is also subject to the Privacy Policy at https://www.orthopractis.com/privacy.
22. APPLE TERMS
Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support beyond obligations imposed by law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by Apple’s standard licensed application terms.
23. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, compatibility, accuracy, diagnostic performance, or error-free operation.
24. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orthopractis and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, opportunity, reputation, or clinical outcome; or unauthorized disclosure arising from use or inability to use the app.
25. NON-EXCLUDABLE RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other non-excludable matters.
26. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Orthopractis against claims arising from unlawful data use, unauthorized disclosure, violation of institutional rules, misuse of the app, or infringement of third-party rights.
27. TERMINATION
The license ends if you breach these Terms. On termination, stop using and delete the app, subject to rights that survive by nature.
28. GOVERNING LAW
Subject to mandatory consumer protections, these Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. The appropriate courts of Greece shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
29. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes may require renewed in-app consent.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern Center Edge Angle for Android, related documentation, support materials, exported files, and Orthopractis pages that link to these Terms. By downloading, installing, opening, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Center Edge Angle Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
If you use the app for a hospital, clinic, university, research institution, company, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization and will comply with its rules, approvals, security controls, and professional obligations.
2. PUBLISHER
The app is provided by ORTHOPRACTIS.COM SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (“Orthopractis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact details appear in Section 21.
3. INTENDED USERS
Center Edge Angle is intended for appropriately trained adult healthcare professionals, authorized clinical-team members, supervised trainees, educators, and researchers who understand hip radiographs, landmark placement, measurement limitations, patient confidentiality, and the clinical context.
The app is not intended for unsupervised patient self-diagnosis, use by children as app users, primary image interpretation, emergency decisions, autonomous diagnosis, autonomous treatment selection, or sole-reliance clinical decisions.
4. PURPOSE AND REGULATORY STATUS
Center Edge Angle supports user-directed placement of four landmarks on a hip radiograph and calculation and display of lateral center-edge angles through 2AE or Extended workflows. It may also display optional age-banded reference information and create annotated output after user review.
Regulatory classification can differ by jurisdiction and depends on the exact software version, intended purpose, claims, users, and market. These Terms do not by themselves represent that the app is approved, cleared, certified, registered, or exempt in any country. Use the app only where its distribution and use are lawful. Where Orthopractis supplies approved labeling, an authorization notice, or Instructions for Use for a regulated version, those materials control over inconsistent general website wording.
5. PROFESSIONAL REVIEW AND MEDICAL LIMITATIONS
The app does not replace clinical judgment, radiological interpretation, professional training, institutional procedures, or consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. Do not use the app for an emergency or as the only basis for diagnosis, treatment, surgery, follow-up, research conclusions, or another important decision.
Before any output may affect care or another important decision, a qualified professional must independently review the source image, projection, positioning, anatomy, image quality, landmark placement, selected method, entered age, calculations, reference labels, construction lines, and exported result.
6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for:
• obtaining every required patient, subject, parent or guardian, legally authorized representative, institutional, ethical, research, professional, and legal authorization;
• using synthetic, de-identified, cropped, or masked images whenever appropriate;
• verifying image quality, projection, positioning, anatomy, scale, landmark placement, calculations, labels, and exports;
• protecting the device and every saved or shared file;
• choosing only authorized storage, email, messaging, cloud, hospital, or other destinations;
• complying with privacy, confidentiality, health-data, medical, research, record-retention, security, employment, and institutional requirements; and
• using the app only in markets and workflows where all required authorizations and regulatory conditions are met.
7. IMAGE AND MEASUREMENT LIMITATIONS
Results may be affected by radiographic quality, pelvic rotation or tilt, patient positioning, projection, incomplete anatomy, distortion, magnification, image decoding, screen or device behavior, file conversion, point placement, user technique, selected method, formula implementation, age entry, reference thresholds, and clinical context.
Orthopractis does not guarantee that every output is accurate, reproducible, complete, validated for a particular purpose, clinically appropriate, regulatory-compliant, or suitable for a specific patient, institution, procedure, publication, or jurisdiction. Verify all outputs using approved professional methods.
8. LOCAL IMAGE WORKFLOW, SAVING, AND SHARING
The reviewed Android build processes selected images and measurement coordinates locally, does not require an Orthopractis account, does not request the Android INTERNET permission, and does not automatically upload the active image or measurement session to Orthopractis.
Photos, Files, PDF, and camera functions rely on Android system components or independent provider apps. Saving creates a user-controlled annotated image. Sharing opens Android's share chooser. You control and are responsible for every file saved, shared, emailed, uploaded, printed, transferred to a hospital system, or sent to another destination.
9. PRIVACY
Use is also governed by the Center Edge Angle for Android Privacy Policy at https://www.orthopractis.com/privacy. Do not send patient-identifying or confidential material to support unless it is lawful, authorized, necessary, and appropriately protected.
10. LICENSE
Subject to these Terms, Google Play rules, and applicable law, Orthopractis grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the app on compatible Android devices you own, control, or are authorized to use for lawful professional, supervised educational, research, or measurement-support purposes.
11. PROHIBITED USES
You must not:
• use the app for emergency decisions, autonomous diagnosis or treatment, primary image interpretation, or as the only basis for patient care;
• use it without appropriate qualification, authorization, or supervision;
• process patient or subject images without every required authorization or lawful basis;
• misrepresent outputs as guaranteed, autonomously generated clinical conclusions, or approved, cleared, certified, or validated where that is not substantiated;
• send patient-identifiable information unlawfully or unnecessarily;
• bypass security, interfere with app operation, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access;
• reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or create derivative products except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
• use the app in a way that violates law, professional standards, institutional rules, intellectual-property rights, or third-party rights.
12. OWNERSHIP
The app, interface, text, graphics, code, documentation, branding, and original content are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Users retain responsibility for and rights they lawfully hold in source images and exported files. Using the app does not transfer ownership of a patient image or third-party content.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Google Play, Android, device manufacturers, camera apps, photo and document providers, browsers, email providers, storage providers, cloud services, messaging apps, hospital systems, Wix, and other destinations are independent services. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, security, and retention rules apply. Orthopractis does not control those services.
14. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, AND STORE TERMS
If the app is purchased, subscribed to, downloaded, or updated through Google Play, payment, tax, refund, cancellation, family, country, and distribution matters may also be governed by Google Play terms and the offer shown at the time of the transaction. These Terms do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
15. AVAILABILITY, COMPATIBILITY, AND CHANGES
The app requires a compatible Android device and may depend on system photo, document, PDF, camera, storage, and sharing components. Features may not work identically on every screen size, Android version, manufacturer build, file provider, camera app, or destination.
Orthopractis may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, support, or distribution where permitted by law. Organizations using the app in a controlled workflow are responsible for evaluating updates before deployment.
16. DISCLAIMERS
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and related materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, clinical suitability, regulatory status in every market, or compatibility with every device, file, or service. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orthopractis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss arising from patient care, delayed care, image quality, incorrect landmark placement, misinterpretation, unauthorized data handling, device or service failure, or reliance on an output without the required independent review. Any mandatory non-excludable liability remains unaffected.
18. INDEMNITY
Where legally permitted, an organization or professional user agrees to be responsible for claims arising from its unauthorized, unlawful, negligent, or non-compliant use, its source images, its exports, or its breach of these Terms. This clause does not apply where prohibited by mandatory law.
19. TERMINATION
The license ends if you materially breach these Terms or if use is no longer lawful or authorized. On termination, stop using and uninstall the app, subject to legally required retention of records or exported files. Sections intended by their nature to survive remain effective.
20. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without prejudice to mandatory rights that apply in the user's country. To the extent legally permitted, the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece have jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a mandatory local forum or remedy that cannot be waived.
21. CHANGES AND CONTACT
Orthopractis may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app, law, regulatory status, distribution, or practices. The published page will show the effective and last-updated dates. Continued use after legally effective notice constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern FMI Hip Measurement for Android, related documentation, support materials, exported files, and Orthopractis web pages that link to these Terms. The app is provided by ORTHOPRACTIS.COM SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (“Orthopractis”).
By installing, opening, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use the app for a hospital, clinic, university, research institution, company, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and will comply with that organization’s rules and approvals.
2. Intended users
The app is intended for appropriately qualified adult healthcare professionals, authorized clinical-team members, trainees under supervision, educators, and researchers. It is not intended for children as app users, unsupervised patient self-diagnosis, emergency decisions, autonomous diagnosis, autonomous treatment selection, or sole-reliance clinical or surgical decision-making.
3. Purpose and current regulatory statement
The app supports user-directed placement of ten anatomical landmarks on a hip radiograph, local calculation/display of CE angle, alpha angle, AfOR and reference-category labels, and optional user-controlled creation of an annotated image.
FMI Hip Measurement is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
This non-device statement applies only if Orthopractis has confirmed that the exact app version, intended purpose, claims, and distribution market are not regulated as a medical device. If Orthopractis publishes written regulatory information for a specific version and jurisdiction, that information, approved intended purpose, warnings, and Instructions for Use control in that jurisdiction.
4. No medical advice and no sole reliance
The app does not replace clinical judgment, radiological interpretation, patient examination, professional training, institutional protocols, multidisciplinary review, diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical responsibility, or consultation with qualified professionals.
All images, point positions, measurements, labels, lines, overlays, and exports must be reviewed independently for plausibility and accuracy by an appropriately qualified professional before any clinical, educational, research, publication, consultation, or institutional use. Do not use the app for primary image interpretation or emergency action.
5. Professional and legal responsibility
You are responsible for:
• obtaining every required patient, subject, parent/guardian, legally authorized representative, institutional, ethical, research, professional, and legal authorization;
• using de-identified, cropped, masked, or synthetic images whenever appropriate;
• confirming image quality, projection, positioning, anatomy, scale, landmark placement, calculations, labels, and exported content;
• independently verifying results before they may affect care or another important decision;
• securing the device and every saved/shared file;
• complying with privacy, confidentiality, medical, research, record-retention, security, and institutional requirements; and
• using the app only in markets and workflows where all required authorization and regulatory conditions are met.
6. Image and measurement limitations
Results can be affected by radiographic quality, pelvic rotation or tilt, patient positioning, projection, incomplete anatomy, distortion, magnification, image decoding, screen/device behavior, point placement, user technique, formula implementation, reference thresholds, and clinical context.
Orthopractis does not guarantee that every output is accurate, reproducible, complete, validated for a particular purpose, clinically appropriate, regulatory-compliant, or suitable for a specific patient, institution, procedure, publication, or jurisdiction. Verify all results with approved professional methods.
7. Local image workflow and exports
The current app processes selected images and measurement coordinates locally and does not require an Orthopractis account or automatic server upload. A camera capture may be saved to device storage through Android MediaStore. Saving or sharing an annotated result occurs only after a user action.
You control and are responsible for any file saved, shared, emailed, uploaded, printed, transferred to a hospital system, or sent to another destination. External camera, browser, email, cloud, messaging, storage, and healthcare services have their own terms, privacy practices, security, and retention.
8. Privacy
Use is also governed by the FMI Hip Measurement Privacy Policy. Do not send patient-identifying or confidential material to support unless it is lawful, authorized, necessary, and appropriately protected.
9. License
Subject to these Terms and Google Play rules, Orthopractis grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on compatible Android devices you own or control, or are authorized to use, for lawful professional, supervised educational, research, or measurement-support purposes.
10. Prohibited uses
You must not:
• use the app for emergency decisions, autonomous diagnosis/treatment, or as the only basis for patient care;
• use the app without appropriate qualification or supervision;
• use patient images without required authorization or lawful basis;
• misrepresent app outputs as guaranteed, validated for every purpose, or approved/certified where no such current authorization exists;
• send patient-identifiable information unlawfully or unnecessarily;
• bypass security, interfere with the app, introduce malicious code, or use the app unlawfully;
• copy, resell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the app except as allowed by mandatory law or written agreement; or
• remove legal, safety, privacy, intellectual-property, or professional-use notices.
11. Support
Support requests may be sent to info@orthopractis.com. Support does not provide emergency services, clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment advice, or a guaranteed response time. Use de-identified material and provide only the minimum information needed.
12. Updates and changes
Orthopractis may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, documentation, support processes, or these Terms. Updates may be required for compatibility, safety, security, policy, regulatory, or legal reasons. A material change to functionality, claims, or data handling may require renewed consent and updated Play Console declarations.
13. Intellectual property
The app, interface, text, graphics, code, documentation, branding, and related materials are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors, except for third-party or Android system components owned by their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer ownership.
14. Third-party services
Google Play, Android, device manufacturers, camera apps, browsers, email providers, storage providers, cloud services, messaging apps, and other destinations are independent services. 15. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, clinical suitability, or regulatory suitability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orthopractis and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, clinical, professional, research, reputational, data-loss, privacy, confidentiality, business, lost-profit, or third-party damages arising from the app, inability to use it, misuse, reliance on outputs, exported files, external services, or these Terms.
Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory rights.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Orthopractis and its personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from unlawful or unauthorized use, patient-data handling, exports, support submissions, breach of these Terms, violation of institutional policy, or infringement of third-party rights. This does not apply where prohibited by law.
18. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Rights under these Terms terminate if you materially breach them. Provisions that by nature should survive termination—including privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law—continue to apply.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, except where mandatory consumer, medical, privacy, professional, or local law requires another rule. Courts located in Greece may have jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides another mandatory forum. Contact info@orthopractis.com before filing a claim so the parties may attempt informal resolution; this does not limit non-waivable rights.

2. Intended users

The app is not intended for unsupervised patient self-diagnosis, emergency care, autonomous diagnosis, autonomous treatment selection, or sole-reliance clinical or surgical decision-making.
3. Purpose of the app
WhereMyCup supports local point placement and spinopelvic measurement review on standing and sitting radiographic images. The app may help users place anatomical points, draw measurement lines and arcs, calculate values such as APP tilt, lumbar lordosis, sacral slope, pelvic incidence, PI-LL mismatch, and produce annotated images or text reports.
The app is a measurement aid and educational/professional support tool. It is not a substitute for clinical judgment, radiological interpretation, formal medical training, institutional protocols, multidisciplinary review, patient examination, diagnosis, surgical planning responsibility, treatment responsibility, or consultation with qualified professionals.
4. No medical advice, no autonomous diagnosis, and no sole reliance
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnose, treat, cure, prevent disease, prescribe treatment, select an operation, make autonomous clinical decisions, replace a clinician, replace a radiologist, replace a surgeon, or guarantee the suitability of any output for a patient.
All measurements, classifications, normal-reference comparisons, labels, exported images, and reports must be reviewed for plausibility and accuracy by a qualified healthcare professional before any clinical, educational, research, publication, consultation, or institutional use.
5. Regulatory status
Unless Orthopractis separately states in writing that a specific version of WhereMyCup has been approved, cleared, certified, registered, or otherwise authorized as a regulated medical device in a specific jurisdiction, you must not assume that the app has such regulatory status.
If the App Store product page, regulatory documentation, or written Orthopractis documentation states a regulated medical-device status for a specific region and version, use the app only within the stated indications, limitations, safety information, and instructions.
6. Professional responsibility and user obligations
You are responsible for all use of the app and all outputs you create. You agree that you will:
- Obtain all required patient, parent/guardian, legally authorized representative, institutional, ethical, research, and legal consent or authorization before loading, scanning, capturing, saving, exporting, sharing, emailing, uploading, or storing any health-related file or app output.
- Comply with privacy law, medical confidentiality duties, professional rules, institutional policies, local law, and any applicable medical-device or research requirements.
- Use de-identified, cropped, masked, or synthetic images for testing, App Store review support, website screenshots, teaching, publication, or support whenever possible.
- Verify image quality, patient positioning, projection, anatomical visibility, point placement, measurement logic, result labels, normal-reference comparisons, report text, and exported files.
- Independently validate outputs before relying on them.
- Secure the device and saved/exported files against unauthorized access.
- Ensure that exports, screenshots, support materials, and communications are lawful and appropriately de-identified where required.
7. Measurement and image limitations
Measurement results may be affected by many factors, including X-ray quality, pelvic rotation or tilt, patient positioning, image projection, incomplete anatomy, visible labels, image distortion, zoom scale, point placement, device performance, user technique, and differences among radiographic methods, institutional protocols, reference databases, and clinical interpretations.
The app may reduce workflow burden, but it cannot guarantee that every measurement is accurate, complete, reproducible, clinically appropriate, regulatory-compliant, or suitable for a specific patient, procedure, institution, jurisdiction, or publication.
8. Local image workflow and exports
The app is designed to process selected images locally on the device. The current native workflow does not require an Orthopractis account and does not automatically upload patient images, coordinates, reports, or measurement values to Orthopractis servers.
If you save or export annotated images, text reports, screenshots, or other files, you are responsible for reviewing, securing, storing, deleting, and sharing those files. Orthopractis does not control files after you save, export, email, AirDrop, upload, print, or store them outside the app.
9. Privacy
Use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy at https://www.orthopractis.com/privacy. You are responsible for lawful handling of patient data and for complying with applicable privacy, medical confidentiality, research, institutional, and data-protection requirements.
10. Apple App Store terms
Where the app is downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by Apple's standard terms. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the app unless applicable law says otherwise. App Store downloads, purchases, refunds, ratings, reviews, TestFlight, diagnostics, and platform services may be governed by Apple's own terms and policies.
11. License
Subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store rules, Orthopractis grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, or as otherwise permitted by Apple usage rules, for lawful professional, educational, research, or supervised clinical-support purposes.
12. Prohibited uses
You must not:
- Use the app for emergency decisions, autonomous diagnosis, autonomous treatment selection, or as the only basis for clinical or surgical action.
- Use the app without appropriate professional qualification or supervision.
- Use patient images without required authorization, consent, institutional approval, or legal basis.
- Misrepresent app outputs as guaranteed, validated for every purpose, or regulatory-cleared unless Orthopractis separately provides written documentation for that specific version and region.
- Upload, share, or send patient-identifiable information unlawfully or unnecessarily.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app except as allowed by law or a written agreement.
- Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, legal, safety, privacy, or professional-use notices.
- Use the app in a way that violates law, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, App Store rules, institutional policies, or professional obligations.
13. Support
Support requests may be sent to info@orthopractis.com. Do not include patient-identifiable information in support requests unless it is necessary, lawful, authorized, and appropriately de-identified or protected. Orthopractis may respond to support requests but does not guarantee a specific response time, clinical advice, or professional consultation.
14. Updates and changes
Orthopractis may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue app features, documentation, website pages, support processes, privacy practices, or these Terms. Some updates may be required for compatibility, safety, security, legal, App Store, or platform reasons.
Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply to later use. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the app.
15. Intellectual property
The app, interface, text, graphics, measurement workflow, documentation, branding, trademarks, and related materials are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors, except for third-party materials and system components owned by their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer ownership of intellectual property to you.
16. Third-party services and destinations
The app may allow you to open Orthopractis website pages, send email, save to Photos, export to Files, share by AirDrop, use Mail, use Messages, upload to cloud storage, or send material to hospital systems or other destinations. Those destinations are controlled by you and by the receiving service. They may have their own terms, privacy notices, security practices, retention periods, and legal requirements.
17. No warranty
To the maximum extent allowed by law, WhereMyCup is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, clinical suitability, regulatory suitability, or compatibility with every device, image, workflow, institution, or jurisdiction.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Orthopractis is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, clinical, professional, institutional, research, publication, data-loss, privacy, export, or treatment-related damages arising from or related to use of the app or reliance on app outputs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
19. Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orthopractis from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use, professional misuse, unsupported clinical reliance, unauthorized image handling, breach of these Terms, breach of privacy obligations, or violation of third-party rights.
20. International use
You are responsible for complying with local laws and professional rules that apply in your country, region, institution, or clinical environment. If use of the app or a feature is not lawful or appropriate in your location, do not use that feature.
21. Termination
These Terms apply until terminated. You may terminate them by deleting the app and stopping use. Orthopractis may suspend or terminate access to support, updates, or services where permitted by law if you breach these Terms, misuse the app, violate rights, or create legal, privacy, safety, or security risk.
22. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect to the maximum extent allowed by law.

SonoHipAngles is a software tool that assists authorized users in measuring α and β angles on selected hip ultrasound images. It is intended to support measurement workflow and education. It does not provide a standalone diagnosis, treatment decision, medical order, or replacement for professional clinical judgment.
2. Qualified review required
App results must be reviewed by a qualified clinician. Users are responsible for verifying image quality, patient age, side selection, anatomical landmarks, line placement, angle interpretation, and clinical context.
3. Consent and authorization
Users must have appropriate authorization and patient, parent, or guardian consent before selecting or measuring an ultrasound image. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable privacy, medical-record, institutional, and professional requirements.
4. No emergency use

By installing, opening, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use the app on behalf of a hospital, clinic, university, research organization, company, or other institution, you confirm that you have authority to use the app in that environment and that your use complies with that organization's rules.
2. Relationship with Apple and App Store terms
If you download, purchase, subscribe to, update, or use the app through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's applicable Usage Rules. These Terms are between you and Orthopractis, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, app content, maintenance, support, medical use, professional use, regulatory status, patient data, or claims arising from use of the app, except as required by applicable law.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple-specific provisions in these Terms. After you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce those provisions against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you do not provide or accept a custom license agreement in App Store Connect, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement may also apply. Where Apple's required terms cannot be changed by these Terms, Apple's required terms control.

Subject to these Terms, Orthopractis grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, and as otherwise permitted by Apple's Usage Rules and applicable law.
You do not acquire ownership of the app, source code, algorithms, interface, graphics, documentation, templates, reference materials, charts, decision tables, trademarks, logos, or other Orthopractis intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Orthopractis and its licensors.
4. Intended users
HipDysplasiaPro is intended for trained healthcare professionals, orthopaedic surgeons, authorized clinical team members, educators, researchers, medical students, residents, and supervised operators with appropriate understanding of radiographic measurement and the clinical context.
The app is not intended for use by unsupervised patients, children as app users, consumers for self-diagnosis, emergency decision-making, or untrained persons as a substitute for professional evaluation.
5. Purpose of the app
HipDysplasiaPro is a professional measurement, education, research, and planning-support tool related to hip dysplasia and hip osteotomy workflows. Depending on the version and user workflow, the app may help users load or capture X-ray images, enter calibration and patient-related calculation values, place anatomical landmarks, calculate measurements, display annotations, compare values with reference or normal values, generate right and left hip graphic analysis, produce load and pressure graphs, show osteotomy-related decision tables, save annotated images, and export text reports or graphic reports.
The app is a support tool. It is not a substitute for clinical judgment, radiological interpretation, formal medical training, institutional protocols, multidisciplinary review, patient examination, diagnosis, surgical planning responsibility, treatment responsibility, or consultation with qualified professionals.
6. No medical advice, no autonomous diagnosis, and no sole reliance
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnose, treat, cure, prevent disease, prescribe treatment, select an operation, make autonomous clinical decisions, replace a clinician, replace a radiologist, replace a surgeon, or guarantee the suitability of any output for a patient.
You must not rely on the app as the sole basis for diagnosis, patient management, surgical planning, osteotomy selection, treatment, referral, discharge, follow-up, research conclusions, legal documentation, or any other clinical or professional decision.
All images, image quality, calibration values, patient values, point placements, landmark selections, right and left side assignments, calculations, graphs, load values, pressure values, normal-reference comparisons, theta/sigma charts, labels, decision tables, annotated images, and report text must be independently reviewed for plausibility and accuracy by a qualified healthcare professional before any professional use.
7. Measurement and graph limitations
Measurement and graph outputs may be affected by many factors, including X-ray quality, radiographic technique, patient positioning, pelvic rotation, pelvic tilt, magnification, image distortion, calibration error, incomplete anatomy, user technique, landmark visibility, landmark interpretation, side selection, scale entry, height/weight entry, age entry, sex/gender selection, point placement, screen size, zoom, device performance, operating-system changes, software defects, and differences between clinical protocols, reference databases, institutions, populations, or jurisdictions.
Normal values, printed reference values, right/left comparisons, load and pressure values, R/G5 and P/G5 graphs, sigma/theta charts, and osteotomy decision tables are planning-support and educational visualizations. They may not apply to every patient, diagnosis, anatomy, age group, population, image view, disease stage, or surgical method. They must be checked against current clinical literature, institutional protocols, and professional judgment.
8. Regulatory status
Unless Orthopractis separately states in writing that a specific version of HipDysplasiaPro has been approved, cleared, certified, registered, or otherwise authorized as a regulated medical device in a specific jurisdiction, you must not assume that the app has such regulatory status.
Do not use the app in any jurisdiction, institution, clinical workflow, research workflow, or patient-care setting where applicable law, policy, or professional standards require regulatory clearance, certification, quality-system validation, institutional approval, ethics approval, or other authorization that has not been obtained.
If the App Store product page, regulatory documentation, or written Orthopractis documentation states a regulated medical device status for a specific region and version, use the app only within the stated indications, limitations, safety information, and instructions.
9. Professional responsibility and user obligations
You are responsible for all use of the app and all outputs you create. You agree that you will:
- Use the app only within your training, competence, legal authority, professional role, and institutional authorization.
- Obtain all required patient, parent/guardian, legally authorized representative, institutional, ethical, research, and legal consent or authorization before loading, scanning, measuring, saving, exporting, emailing, uploading, or sharing health-related files or app outputs.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy laws, medical confidentiality duties, research rules, professional obligations, hospital policies, and local law.
- De-identify or minimize patient-identifiable information where possible.
- Verify image quality, calibration, landmarks, right/left side, age, height, weight, sex/gender inputs, calculations, report text, annotations, normal-reference comparisons, and graphics.
- Test updates and new versions in your workflow before relying on them.
- Maintain appropriate backups, security controls, device passcodes, access restrictions, and deletion procedures for saved or exported files.
- Stop using an output and perform independent review if the image, calibration, landmark selection, measurement, graph, or report appears incomplete, implausible, inaccurate, distorted, or clinically unsuitable.
10. Patient data, privacy, and support communications
Use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how the app handles local processing, images, measurements, reports, graphics, exports, support communications, website information, and user choices.
The app processes selected images and measurement data locally in the current implementation and does not automatically upload patient images, point coordinates, measurements, reports, or graphs to Orthopractis. However, if you export, save, email, AirDrop, upload, print, or share files, those files may leave the app and may be handled by third-party destinations selected by you.
Do not send patient-identifiable information to Orthopractis support unless it is necessary, lawful, authorized, and appropriately de-identified where possible. If you send support materials, you grant Orthopractis permission to use those materials only as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, comply with law, maintain records, and protect rights and safety.
11. User content and rights
You retain any rights you have in images, files, reports, and other content you load, create, save, or export. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and professional authority to use that content.
For local app processing, you grant the app permission to process your selected content on your device for the purpose of providing the features you choose. For support communications that you voluntarily send to Orthopractis, you grant Orthopractis a limited permission to view, copy, store, and use the submitted content as needed to provide support, investigate issues, comply with legal duties, and maintain business records.
12. Exports, reports, saved images, and sharing
The app may allow user-controlled export or saving of annotated images, original or loaded X-ray images, landmarks, measurement overlays, coordinates, calculation values, right/left hip report text, load/pressure graphics, normal-reference comparisons, osteotomy-category graphics, decision tables, and related files.
You are responsible for reviewing every exported file before sharing it. You are responsible for choosing appropriate destinations and recipients. Orthopractis is not responsible for third-party storage, email, cloud services, messaging services, AirDrop recipients, file-provider destinations, hospital systems, printers, screenshots, or recipients selected by you.
13. visionOS spatial use
The native visionOS version may present an immersive measurement board, meshes, lines, points, labels, and graphics in front of the user and may support spatial accessory or stylus input where available. The spatial presentation is a user-interface and visualization mode. It does not make the measurements automatically correct, does not remove the need for independent verification, and does not replace professional clinical judgment.
Do not use visionOS immersive content in a way that distracts from patient care, operating-room safety, sterile-field requirements, supervision duties, institutional policy, or environmental awareness.
14. Research, education, publication, and screenshots
If you use the app for research, teaching, publication, demonstration, marketing, conference presentations, website screenshots, App Store screenshots, peer review, or student training, you are responsible for obtaining ethics approval, consent, permissions, and de-identification where required. Use synthetic, sample, cropped, or de-identified images wherever possible.
Do not imply that the app output is a validated clinical endpoint, regulatory-cleared diagnosis, outcome prediction, or treatment recommendation unless you have appropriate evidence, authorization, and written permission.
15. Purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and taxes
If the app, an upgrade, or an in-app purchase is sold through the Apple App Store, Apple may handle payment processing, taxes, receipts, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and family sharing according to Apple's rules and the terms shown at the time of purchase. Orthopractis does not receive full payment-card information from Apple.
If the app offers an auto-renewable subscription in the future, subscription terms, price, duration, renewal, cancellation, trial period, and refund rules will be shown by Apple before purchase. You can manage or cancel Apple subscriptions through your Apple account settings. Unless required by law or Apple policy, purchases and subscriptions may be non-refundable once provided.
16. Updates, availability, and compatibility
Orthopractis may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, remove, or replace the app, app features, documentation, permission strings, graphics, report formats, reference values, normal-value comparisons, decision tables, subscription features, support resources, privacy notices, or terms at any time.
Features may vary by device, screen size, operating system, camera availability, photo-library permission, world-sensing permission, accessory support, country, App Store availability, institutional configuration, and user settings. The app may not be compatible with every device, OS version, image type, export destination, or workflow.
17. Support and maintenance
Support requests may be sent to info@orthopractis.com. Orthopractis is responsible for app support to the extent described in these Terms and required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
Support may be limited, delayed, unavailable, or discontinued. Do not send urgent medical questions, emergencies, or patient-care decisions to app support. For medical emergencies, contact local emergency services and appropriate healthcare professionals.
18. Intellectual property
The app, software code, algorithms, user interface, workflows, chart layouts, graphics, labels, text, documentation, icons, trademarks, logos, templates, and related materials are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code, create derivative works, remove notices, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, host, make available over a network, or commercially exploit the app except as expressly permitted by law, Apple's Usage Rules, or written permission from Orthopractis.
19. Prohibited uses
You must not use the app:
- Unlawfully or outside your professional authority.
- Without required patient, guardian, institutional, legal, ethical, or research authorization.
- To violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, publicity, or data-protection rights.
- For unsupervised patient self-diagnosis, emergency decisions, or autonomous treatment decisions.
- As the sole basis for patient care, surgery, diagnosis, treatment, research conclusions, or legal documentation.
- To misrepresent the app as a regulatory-cleared medical device, autonomous AI system, or guaranteed clinical decision tool unless Orthopractis has expressly provided such written status for the specific version and jurisdiction.
- To upload, export, share, publish, or disclose patient-identifiable information without authority.
- To harass, defame, discriminate, surveil, or harm any person.
- To interfere with app security, Apple systems, website systems, or other users.
- To copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or distribute the app except as permitted by law.
20. Third-party services and links
The app or website may link to Apple App Store pages, Orthopractis pages, email, Files, Photos, AirDrop, cloud storage, hospital systems, messaging apps, Safari, or other third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, availability, fees, and retention rules. Orthopractis is not responsible for third-party services or destinations selected by you.
21. Export control, sanctions, and legal compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to applicable embargoes or sanctions that prohibit use of the app, and that you are not listed on a restricted-party list that prohibits receiving the app. You agree to comply with all applicable export-control, sanctions, medical, privacy, consumer, professional, and technology laws.
22. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app and related materials are provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind. Orthopractis disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, clinical suitability, regulatory suitability, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and compatibility.
Orthopractis does not warrant that any image measurement, point placement, angle, index, load value, pressure value, graph, normal-reference comparison, theta/sigma chart, decision table, annotated image, export, or report is accurate, complete, clinically appropriate, safe, valid, current, or suitable for any patient or purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot be excluded, you may notify Apple where applicable, and Apple may refund the purchase price according to Apple's rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
23. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orthopractis and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, clinical, professional, research, reputational, data-loss, privacy, confidentiality, business, lost-profit, or third-party damages arising out of or related to the app, inability to use the app, misuse of the app, reliance on outputs, exported files, third-party services, or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orthopractis is not liable for clinical decisions, surgical decisions, diagnostic decisions, treatment decisions, patient outcomes, research conclusions, institutional decisions, privacy incidents, unauthorized sharing, file loss, device loss, cloud-service issues, email issues, or third-party destination issues arising from use of the app or outputs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
24. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orthopractis and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the app, your content, your exports, your support submissions, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or institutional policy, your patient-data handling, or your infringement of third-party rights. This indemnity does not apply where prohibited by law.
25. Product claims and intellectual-property claims
Orthopractis, not Apple, is responsible for addressing product claims relating to the app, including claims about the app's content, use, warranties, regulatory status, or legal compliance, except as otherwise required by law. Orthopractis, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual-property rights, to the extent required by these Terms and applicable law.
26. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms automatically terminate if you breach them. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete copies where required. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including privacy, patient confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute provisions.
27. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, except where mandatory consumer, medical, privacy, App Store, or local laws require a different rule. Courts located in Greece may have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere or prohibits this forum selection.
Before filing a legal claim, please contact info@orthopractis.com so the parties can try to resolve the issue informally. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
28. Changes to these Terms
Orthopractis may update these Terms to reflect app changes, website changes, App Store requirements, legal requirements, platform changes, privacy-practice changes, support-process changes, or business changes. The updated version should be posted at https://www.orthopractis.com/terms-of-use or another stable Orthopractis terms URL with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply to later use.

7. Image and measurement limitations
Measurement outputs can be affected by image quality, patient positioning, radiographic technique, calibration, magnification, user input, landmark choice, device screen, software behavior, and clinical context. Reference values and labels may not apply to every patient, age group, condition, population, imaging view, or jurisdiction. Users must apply professional judgment and consult appropriate clinical references and institutional protocols.

1. PURPOSE
OrthoFaceCosmetic is an educational AR cosmetic colour-planning and visualization app. It is designed to help users understand how ordinary cosmetic categories such as highlight, contour, blush, lip warmth, matte softening, and keep-natural review may change the perceived visual balance of facial surfaces.
The app may use a live AR face mesh, fixed vertex identifiers, review surfaces, cosmetic colour patches, arrows, optional Apple Vision Pro local viewing, and correction TXT export/share. The app does not physically change the face.
2. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
OrthoFaceCosmetic is not a medical device, diagnosis tool, treatment planner, orthodontic planner, surgical planner, aesthetic-medical prescription system, identity-verification tool, emergency tool, attractiveness score, or beauty score. The app provides educational visualization only. Consult qualified professionals before making medical, dental, orthodontic, surgical, psychological, or aesthetic-medical decisions.
3. TRUEDEPTH API AND CAMERA USE
When supported by the device, OrthoFaceCosmetic uses the Apple TrueDepth camera and ARKit face-tracking features only after the user grants camera permission and starts a live AR session. This is used to create a live AR face mesh for educational cosmetic colour guidance and optional vertex-ID display.
The app does not collect or access Apple Face ID authentication templates, Secure Enclave biometric data, passcode data, or biometric information used to unlock the device. The app does not use TrueDepth data for identity verification, biometric authentication, advertising, tracking, profiling, employment decisions, insurance decisions, or eligibility decisions.
4. COSMETIC COLOUR GUIDANCE
The app uses map colours to explain reversible cosmetic guidance:
Gold = highlight / visual advance.
Blue = matte contour / visual recession.
Rose = blush / lift / soft transition.
Warm red = lip warmth / definition.
Mint = neutral review / keep natural.
Violet = soft matte shadow / anti-shine.
Cyan = manual technical vertex-ID selection.
These are map colours only. They do not mean the user must paint literal gold, blue, mint, violet, or cyan makeup on the face. The app may suggest generic product categories, not brands.
5. APPLE VISION PRO LOCAL STREAMING
Apple Vision Pro viewing is optional and user-initiated. If the user starts local pairing, the iOS or iPadOS device may send a temporary local device-to-device visualization packet to the user’s paired Apple Vision Pro viewer. This is used only to display the same educational cosmetic visualization in immersive space. It is not a cloud upload and not third-party sharing.
6. EXPORTS AND SHARING
The app may allow user-initiated correction TXT export/share. Exported files may include derived review-surface names, colour roles, product-category guidance, blending instructions, expected effects, what to avoid, vertex IDs, and settings. Users should review files before sharing and should not export or share another person’s face or face-related information without that person’s informed permission.
7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
Users agree to use OrthoFaceCosmetic only for lawful, educational, cosmetic-communication purposes. Users must not use it for diagnosis, treatment, identity verification, surveillance, tracking, employment/insurance decisions, harassment, shaming, or scanning/sharing another person’s face without permission.
8. WELL-BEING
Cosmetic suggestions are optional and reversible. Balanced areas may be left natural. Stop using the app if it causes distress, repeated checking, unrealistic comparison, or pressure to change appearance.
9. ACCURACY AND LIMITATIONS
AR and cosmetic visualization may be affected by lighting, motion, expression, camera angle, hair, glasses, facial hair, makeup, hardware support, local network stability, and Apple Vision Pro pairing. Outputs are approximate educational visualizations and should not be treated as clinical or guaranteed results.

Purpose
PlaneAncor is provided for augmented reality and spatial computing visualization, engineering review, spatial planning, education, prototype discussion, and collaborative inspection workflows.
Not a calibrated measurement instrument
PlaneAncor is not a calibrated surveying instrument, metrology system, structural certification tool, construction approval system, medical device, safety system, legal-boundary measurement tool, or replacement for professional verification. AR tracking and shared coordinates may drift because of lighting, reflective surfaces, occlusion, motion, device calibration, plane-detection quality, imported asset quality, and network conditions.
Engineering verification
Use PlaneAncor for visualization and collaborative review. Verify final dimensions, tolerances, clearances, anchor points, installations, and safety decisions with calibrated professional tools and approved procedures.
User files and rights
Users are responsible for the 3D files they import, the rights to use those files, and the decision to share them with connected participants. Do not import, display, export, or distribute files unless you have permission to use them.
Connected sessions
Connected sessions may transmit assets, coordinate transforms, group-origin proposals and acceptances, measurements, edit events, delete events, and export/share state to nearby trusted devices. Only connect with trusted participants in authorized spaces. Do not accept a shared 0,0,0 origin unless all participants agree that it represents the intended physical reference.
Apple Vision Pro / visionOS
The Apple Vision Pro experience is a spatial computing review mode. The same accuracy, safety, privacy, and verification limitations apply.
Acceptable use
Do not use PlaneAncor to invade privacy, scan spaces without authorization, share confidential files without permission, infringe intellectual property rights, or make safety-critical decisions without independent verification.
Availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted, or vary by device, operating system, permissions, network conditions, imported file type, and provisioning support.
No warranty

4. No sole reliance
The user must not rely on the app as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, surgery, implant selection, clinical documentation, patient management, or any other medical decision.
All image quality, APP settings, landmark placements, point selections, calculations, drawings, labels, color coding, saved/exported images, and outputs must be independently reviewed and verified by qualified personnel before any professional use.
5. User responsibilities
The user is responsible for using appropriate images, confirming image quality, confirming anatomical landmarks, understanding the measurement method, checking all outputs, maintaining professional judgment, and complying with local law and institutional policy.
The user is responsible for confirming that the app is appropriate for the intended context, device, image source, patient, clinical workflow, educational activity, research project, or quality-control process.
The user must stop using the app output and perform independent review if the image is distorted, incomplete, wrongly oriented, poorly calibrated, inadequately positioned, artifact-affected, or otherwise unsuitable.
6. Patient/subject consent and confidentiality
The user must obtain all necessary patient/subject consent, authorization, ethics approval, institutional permission, or other legal basis before loading, scanning, saving, exporting, storing, or sharing X-rays or health-related files.
The user must protect confidential information and remove or obscure identifiers where required. The user is responsible for any patient-identifiable data entered into, displayed by, saved from, exported from, or shared using the app.
7. Image capture, loading, saving, and export
The app may allow image loading, camera capture, local measurement, drawing, and optional saving/export of annotated result images. The user controls these actions.
Saved/exported files may contain health-related or patient-identifiable information. The user is responsible for where these files are stored, how long they are retained, who can access them, and whether they are shared with other apps or services.
8. Prohibited uses
The user must not use the app for unlawful purposes, unauthorized patient-data handling, emergency decision-making, unsupervised patient self-diagnosis, misleading marketing claims, or as a substitute for qualified professional care.

FaceCamouflage is a visual planning, education and spatial-computing tool. The app helps users study how colours from a photographed environment can be mapped onto a live face mesh as an environment-based camouflage colour plan.

- front-camera AR face-mesh visualization;

2. Lawful and Responsible Use
You agree to use FaceCamouflage only for lawful, safe and responsible purposes.

4. Camera, Face Mesh and Environment Processing
FaceCamouflage uses camera and AR features only after the user starts the relevant workflow and grants permission.
The app may temporarily process:
- a rear-camera environment photo;
- visible colours, shadows, highlights, contrast and pattern data from the environment photo;
- live front-camera frames used by Apple camera and AR frameworks;
- ARKit face geometry, including face-mesh vertices, triangle topology, face-anchor transform/head pose and derived face-zone information;
- vertex IDs, paint-zone IDs, colour assignments and blend metrics.
This processing is used to provide the app's core features: environment colour measurement, face-mesh visualization, camouflage colour mapping, paint instructions, Apple Vision local viewing and optional exports.
FaceCamouflage does not create a faceprint, does not identify you, does not recognize individuals, does not authenticate users with face data, does not access Apple Face ID authentication templates, and does not use face data for tracking, advertising, analytics, profiling, data mining or machine learning model training.

- you understand that face mesh and camera data are processed locally for the app's features;
- you understand that exported files may contain colour codes, vertex IDs, mesh data or visual face-mesh representations;
- you have permission to capture and process any people, environments or property included in your camera view;
- you will use exports and shared files responsibly;
- you may stop using the app, revoke permissions or delete exported files at any time.
7. Apple Vision and Nearby Device Pairing
FaceCamouflage may allow local communication between your iOS device and Apple Vision device. This is used to view the calculated colour/mesh plan in Apple Vision.
Nearby-device pairing may use local network, Bluetooth or QR fallback flows depending on device capability and permission state. Connection quality may vary due to distance, Wi-Fi conditions, Bluetooth state, Local Network permission, device sleep state, operating-system behavior, app foreground/background state, or hardware limitations.
FaceCamouflage does not guarantee uninterrupted Apple Vision connection, immersive rendering, colour transport, or real-time synchronization. The app may provide status indicators, reconnect buttons and fallback messages, but successful pairing depends on user permissions and the local environment.
8. Exports and Sharing
FaceCamouflage may let you export or share app-generated results, including TXT, CSV/XLS-style colour tables, PLY files, USDZ files, screenshots or other output.
Exported files may include environment-derived colours, HEX/RGB codes, paint-zone labels, vertex IDs, mesh data and visual representations of the painted mesh.
You are responsible for:
- choosing whether to export;
- choosing the destination app, service or recipient;
- protecting exported files;
- deleting exported files when you no longer want them;
- ensuring you have permission to share any file that represents a person, face mesh, environment or private location.
Once you share a file through the system share sheet, AirDrop, Files, Mail, Messages, iCloud Drive or another destination, the receiving app, service or recipient may process the file under their own terms and privacy practices.
9. User Content and Rights
You retain any rights you have in photos, environment images, exported files and other content you create with FaceCamouflage.
You grant Orthopractis only the limited rights needed to operate the app on your device and provide support if you voluntarily send materials to Orthopractis.
Do not upload, send, export or share content that you do not have the right to use.
10. Enterprise, MDM and Managed Devices
Some builds or deployments may support enterprise licensing, managed-device configuration or MDM restrictions.
A managed organization may control certain features, such as export availability, local pairing, high-compute mode or configuration status. If a managed license or MDM configuration is unavailable, invalid or disabled, the app may fall back to a limited or balanced mode.
Orthopractis does not guarantee that enterprise features will be available on every device or deployment.

FaceCamouflage relies on Apple operating-system frameworks for camera, AR, rendering, local device communication, file sharing and platform functionality.
Apple system frameworks and operating-system services may display permission prompts, manage camera access, handle local networking, present share sheets or process files according to Apple platform behavior.

Some features require compatible Apple hardware and operating-system versions. Features may not work on unsupported devices, in Simulator, without camera permission, without local-network permission, without Apple Vision hardware, or in environments where camera or network access is restricted.
14. Safety and Material Responsibility
If you use real paint, cosmetic material, camouflage material or any physical product based on colours shown by FaceCamouflage, you are responsible for selecting safe, lawful and appropriate materials.
Do not apply unsafe substances to skin. Do not use paints or chemicals that are not intended for skin contact. Follow all product instructions and warnings. Stop using any material if irritation or discomfort occurs. FaceCamouflage does not recommend or certify any specific physical paint, cosmetic or material.
15. No Warranty
FaceCamouflage is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Orthopractis does not warrant that:
- the app will be uninterrupted or error-free;
- the camera, AR, pairing, export or Vision features will always work;

7. Accuracy limitations
Outputs depend on image quality, radiographic protocol, patient positioning, calibration marker accuracy, selected
calibration value, landmark selection accuracy, side selection, point order, screen manipulation, optional stylus projection,
user technique, and software limitations. No software output is guaranteed to be correct, clinically appropriate, complete,
or suitable for any particular patient, workflow, institution, jurisdiction, or procedure. All output must be independently checked.
8. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms, users may use OrthoOsteotomy for authorized professional education, research, workflow validation,
non-patient demonstrations, internal training, and clinically governed planning support where permitted by institutional
policy and applicable law.
9. Prohibited use
Users must not:
- use the app as the sole basis for primary image interpretation or patient-care decisions
- use the app without proper training, authorization, validation, and legal/regulatory clearance where required
- import, export, or send images without required authorization
- send protected health information to support unless authorized
- attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the software except where law expressly allows

10. Apple App Store terms
If the app is obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable terms also apply, and Apple and its subsidiaries are

The app, name, logo, interface, text, workflow implementation, images created by Orthopractis, and documentation are

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your use of CamouflageMesh and CamouflageMesh Vision on iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, and any supported Apple platform. By downloading, opening, accepting the in-app consent notice, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the capture, AR, photo, world-sensing, local network, enterprise camera, export, or sharing features.
2. Relationship with Apple
These Terms are between you and Orthopractis, not Apple. Orthopractis is responsible for the app and its content, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as third-party beneficiaries after you accept them.
3. Licence
The app is licensed, not sold. Orthopractis grants you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by Apple Media Services terms, Family Sharing, or volume purchasing rules where applicable. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive source code, modify, or create derivative works from the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. What the app does
CamouflageMesh is a planning and visualisation tool for surface mesh capture, environment-colour sampling, camouflaged vertex-colour preview, colour table review, and export. The app can help authorised users plan how a scanned surface may visually blend with surrounding colours before applying paint, coating, film, fabric, or another material finish.
The app may process surface meshes, AR/world-sensing data, selected photos, camera input, colour samples, colour tables, generated vertex colours, USDZ or mesh resources, manifests, paint instructions, ZIP packages, nearby transfer data, and support materials. The current packaged workflow is designed for local processing and user-controlled export.
5. Responsible and authorised use
You must use the app only for surfaces, spaces, objects, and files that you are authorised to capture, process, save, export, and share. You must respect privacy, property rights, site rules, confidentiality duties, intellectual-property rights, export restrictions, workplace policies, school or research rules, and applicable laws.
You must not use the app to scan people, faces, bystanders, private rooms, confidential documents, screens, restricted work areas, security-sensitive places, copyrighted objects, trade secrets, or third-party materials without permission. You must not use the app for unlawful surveillance, deception, harassment, trespass, evasion of security controls, unsafe concealment, criminal activity, or other harmful conduct.
6. Not a tactical, safety-critical, medical, or certified measurement system
The app is a surface colour-planning and visualisation tool. It is not a tactical concealment system, security-evasion tool, weapon-related tool, safety-critical inspection tool, certified surveying instrument, construction sign-off method, medical device, diagnostic tool, treatment tool, legal compliance system, or professional certification system. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for safety, medical, legal, security, construction, or professional decisions.
7. No colour, scale, or result guarantee
The app may help generate practical colour plans, previews, swatches, paint instructions, and exports, but it cannot guarantee final colour appearance, material performance, lighting behaviour, paint availability, mesh accuracy, scale accuracy, or suitability for a specific environment. Real-world colour depends on lighting, surface texture, material, camera exposure, viewing distance, weathering, display calibration, paint mixing, and application method. You must verify final colours with physical swatches and test patches under final lighting conditions.
8. Permissions and device access
The app may request camera, photo, AR/world-sensing, scene reconstruction, local network, Bluetooth, enterprise main-camera, file access, or other permissions only when a feature requires them. Operating-system permission prompts are separate from the in-app consent notice. You may decline permissions, but some features may be unavailable. You can change permissions in device Settings.
9. Apple Vision Pro enterprise camera access
CamouflageMesh Vision may include an enterprise main-camera workflow for Apple Vision Pro. This workflow may open only when the required Apple-approved entitlement, enterprise licence, provisioning profile, supported device state, and active app state are present. If those conditions are not present, the app should use fallback workflows such as selected photos, imported assets, existing mesh colours, or fallback palette tools. You must not attempt to bypass entitlement, licensing, platform, or device-state restrictions.
10. User content and files
You are responsible for all photos, meshes, 3D files, surfaces, colour tables, exports, manifests, support files, and other content you import, create, save, or share through the app. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content with the app. Orthopractis does not claim ownership of your user-created content, but you grant Orthopractis the limited right to process it locally on your device as needed to provide the app features you request.
If you voluntarily send files, screenshots, exports, or messages to Orthopractis support, you grant Orthopractis permission to use that material only as reasonably needed to respond, troubleshoot, maintain records, protect legal rights, and improve documentation or app quality.
11. Export and sharing
Exports may include mesh artifacts, USDZ files where supported, colour table CSV, colour table HTML, colour table JSON, text summaries, paint shopping or instruction lists, palette summaries, manifests, and ZIP archives. You control whether to save or share these files. Once you send files through Share, AirDrop, Files, Photos, Mail, Messages, cloud storage, nearby transfer, or another destination, the destination may process the files under its own privacy policy and terms. You are responsible for selecting trusted destinations and confirming that sharing is permitted.
12. Nearby transfer and paired devices
Nearby transfer, QR sync, local peer transport, and paired-device workflows are intended for user-initiated transfer between nearby trusted devices. Availability and privacy depend on device settings, local network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, operating-system state, and receiving devices. Use these features only with trusted devices and users.
13. No account requirement in the current packaged workflow
The current packaged workflow does not require an Orthopractis account. If a future version adds accounts, subscriptions, cloud upload, server-side processing, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, telemetry, or third-party SDK data collection, Orthopractis must update the Privacy Policy, App Store privacy answers, and related app notices before release.
14. Third-party services and terms
The app may interact with Apple services, operating-system frameworks, App Store distribution, system share sheets, AirDrop, Files, Photos, Mail, cloud storage providers, email providers, local network devices, or other destinations chosen by you. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using those services. Orthopractis does not control third-party services or destinations selected by you.
15. Intellectual property
The app, user interface, source code, design, documentation, workflows, names, marks, and related materials are owned by Orthopractis or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited licence granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not remove copyright notices, misuse Orthopractis marks, or imply endorsement by Orthopractis without permission.
16. Privacy
The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms and explains how the app handles local processing, permissions, exports, sharing, support requests, retention, deletion, tracking, and updates. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app if required by Apple terms or applicable law. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted party list. 23. Termination or restricted access

A region may appear dominant, weak, flat, wide, narrow, shiny, heavy, or neutral because of light, shadow, colour, surface reflectivity, texture, contrast, or camera/lighting conditions.
Colour can change perceived proportion.
A lighter area may appear:

- fuller;
- more projected;
- more lifted;
- more visually important.
A darker matte area may appear:
- smaller;
- narrower;

A rose or warm area may appear:

OrthoFaceCosmetic uses the device camera and Apple ARKit face-tracking features, when supported by the device, to create a live AR face mesh for educational visualization, facial proportion review, and reversible cosmetic colour-guidance overlays.
Face-related data may include:
- AR face mesh geometry produced during the active AR session;
- mesh vertices;
- triangle indices;
- fixed vertex ID references;
- derived facial landmark positions;
- derived facial zone classifications;

7. USER CONSENT AND CAMERA USE
The app requires user consent before using camera-based AR face-mesh features.
Camera access is used to create a live AR face mesh so the app can show educational measurement overlays, cosmetic colour patches, arrows, and optional vertex IDs.
If the user does not grant camera permission, live AR face capture may not be available.
Some features require a supported TrueDepth-capable device or compatible ARKit face-tracking hardware. If the device does not support the required AR face mesh features, the app may open in a safe compatibility mode with limited functionality.
8. APPLE VISION PRO LOCAL STREAMING
OrthoFaceCosmetic may include an optional Apple Vision Pro / visionOS viewer workflow.
The iOS or iPadOS device is the primary capture and calculation device. Apple Vision Pro is the paired immersive viewer.
The Apple Vision Pro workflow may allow the user to view:
- streamed face mesh;
- transparent cosmetic colour patches;
- arrows pointing to selected review surfaces;
- optional white vertex ID labels;
- φ / Marquardt / Blue Guide overlays when activated;
- educational help content;
- correction guidance;
- scrollable review panels.
Apple Vision Pro local streaming is optional and user-initiated.
If the user starts Apple Vision Pro streaming, the iOS or iPadOS device may send a local device-to-device packet to the paired Apple Vision Pro viewer.
The local packet may include:

9. USER EXPORTS AND SHARING
OrthoFaceCosmetic may allow the user to export or share educational files.

- screenshots or images if the user chooses to create/share them;
- 3D review or visualization files if the user activates export features;

Exports are user-initiated.

When the user shares an exported file, the file becomes subject to the privacy practices of the destination selected by the user, such as email, messages, cloud storage, AirDrop, or another app.
10. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND DELETION
Live face mesh data is session-only by default.
Live AR face mesh data, vertex data, measurement states, and cosmetic patch states are retained in memory only while the AR session is active and while the app needs them for live visualization.
When the AR session is stopped, the app is closed, or the user leaves the live capture workflow, live face mesh data is discarded from the active session.
OrthoFaceCosmetic does not maintain a server-side face database.
OrthoFaceCosmetic does not retain face data on an external backend as part of the core workflow.
Optional Apple Vision Pro stream data is transient and is used only during the active local paired session.
Optional user-generated files may persist only if the user intentionally saves, exports, or shares them.

17. APPLE VISION PRO PAIRING LIMITATIONS
Apple Vision Pro pairing depends on:
- both devices being available;

- successful local connection;
- correct app state on both devices.
If QR pairing is not locked, immersive placement may be approximate or unavailable.
If local networking fails, the iOS app may continue locally without Vision Pro streaming.

18. APP STORE AND PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS
OrthoFaceCosmetic is distributed through Apple platforms and may depend on Apple APIs, operating system features, device permissions, ARKit, RealityKit, SceneKit, SwiftUI, Local Network, Bluetooth peer discovery, camera access, file export, and sharing features.
Users must comply with applicable Apple terms, operating system permissions, and device requirements.
Some features may be unavailable on unsupported devices or in restricted environments.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
OrthoFaceCosmetic, its name, app design, logos, measurement organization, AR overlay systems, cosmetic colour-guidance structure, documentation, educational text, diagrams, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the app developer unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, modify, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, repackage, or submit the app or its assets as another app without permission.

7. Local Face-Mesh Processing
In the core App workflow, live AR face-mesh data is processed locally on the user’s device. Face-mesh data, measurements, cosmetic maps, and AR visualization states are not uploaded to an external server by the core App workflow.
Face-mesh data may include technical AR information such as mesh vertices, triangle indices, selected measurements, vertex states, colour-plan data, opacity or intensity settings, and coordinate-alignment information.
Vertex IDs are technical AR mesh references. They are not designed or used by the App as identity-verification data.
8. Apple Vision Pro Pairing and Local Streaming
If the user activates Apple Vision Pro pairing, the iOS device may stream a local visualization packet to the user’s paired OrthoFaceCosmeticVision viewer over the local network.
The local packet may include mesh vertices, triangle indices, selected measurements, vertex states, cosmetic colour-plan data, opacity or intensity state, and coordinate-alignment information. This packet is used only to display the same local visualization in immersive space on the paired Apple Vision Pro.
The Apple Vision Pro feature is local paired visualization only. It is not intended for cloud processing, remote identity verification, third-party profiling, advertising tracking, employment decisions, insurance decisions, or medical decisions.
Use Vision Pro pairing only on a trusted local network and only with devices you own or are authorized to use.
9. Permissions
The App may request certain device permissions. These permissions are used only for App functionality.
Camera access is used to create a live AR face mesh so the App can display educational measurement overlays, cosmetic colour patches, arrows, optional vertex IDs, and other reversible visualizations on the face.
Local Network access is used only when the user chooses to pair and stream the local face-mesh visualization to their own Apple Vision Pro viewer.
Bluetooth access, if requested, may be used for local peer discovery for Apple Vision Pro pairing and local device-to-device visualization. It is not used for advertising tracking.
Photo, file, or share access, if requested, is used only when the user chooses to export, save, or share generated educational images, reports, screenshots, or 3D visualization files.
You can manage permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work if a required permission is disabled.
10. Exports, Saving, and Sharing
Exports and sharing occur only when the user intentionally chooses an export, save, or share action.
Exported images, reports, screenshots, 3D files, or visualization files may contain sensitive face-related information. You are responsible for deciding whether to save, share, transmit, delete, or store exported material.
If you export or share content involving another person’s face, you must have that person’s clear permission. You must not use the App to capture, analyze, export, or share another person’s face without their consent.
Once you intentionally share exported content with another app, device, person, cloud service, messaging service, storage provider, or third-party platform, that third party’s terms and privacy practices may apply. The developer is not responsible for how third parties process content that you choose to share outside the App.
11. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App for any of the following purposes:

identity verification, face recognition, surveillance, tracking, or biometric identification;

advertising tracking, third-party profiling, data brokerage, or marketing data mining;

employment, hiring, workplace evaluation, insurance, lending, credit, eligibility, or similar decisions;

medical, dental, orthodontic, surgical, or aesthetic-medical diagnosis or treatment planning;

deciding whether a person should undergo surgery, orthodontics, cosmetic treatment, dental treatment, injections, implants, or other procedures;
-
judging, ranking, scoring, shaming, bullying, harassing, or discriminating against any person based on appearance;
-
claiming that the App proves a face is defective, abnormal, unattractive, or in need of correction;
-
collecting or processing another person’s face data without consent;
-
creating face-recognition datasets, biometric datasets, surveillance datasets, or profiling systems;
-
reverse engineering, extracting, or repurposing face-mesh data for identity, advertising, profiling, or unauthorized analytics;
-
using the App in any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive manner.
12. Accuracy and Limitations
The App’s overlays, measurements, and visualizations may be affected by many factors, including camera angle, lighting, facial expression, movement, device model, AR tracking quality, occlusion, hair, glasses, pose, calibration, and software limitations.
Measurements and visual outputs are approximate educational visualizations. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. They are not clinical measurements and should not be used for medical, dental, orthodontic, surgical, or treatment decisions.
13. User Responsibility
You are responsible for your use of the App and for any decisions you make after viewing App outputs.
You agree not to rely on the App as professional advice. You agree to consult an appropriate qualified professional before making any medical, dental, orthodontic, surgical, psychological, cosmetic-procedure, or treatment-related decision.
You are also responsible for complying with applicable laws when using, exporting, saving, or sharing any content generated by the App.
14. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, the developer grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s applicable usage rules.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
15. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, interface, visual elements, text, graphics, measurement logic, overlays, reports, icons, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
You retain any rights you may have in your own photos, screenshots, exported files, or user-controlled content. However, you may not use App outputs, interface elements, overlays, or visualization designs to create a competing product, misrepresent the App’s function, or imply endorsement by the developer.
16. Third-Party Services and Apple Terms
The App may rely on Apple technologies, device permissions, operating-system services, AR features, local networking, sharing tools, file tools, Photos tools, or other platform features.
Your use of the App is also subject to applicable Apple terms and any third-party terms that apply to services or platforms you choose to use with exported content.
These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
To the extent required by Apple’s App Store terms, Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.
17. Maintenance and Support
The developer is responsible for providing any support for the App as described in these Terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.

18. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds
If the App offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, those purchases may be processed through Apple. The price, renewal term, cancellation method, and available refund process will be shown through Apple’s purchase interface or App Store account settings.
Unless otherwise required by law, subscription cancellation must be handled through the user’s Apple account settings. The developer does not receive full payment-card details from Apple’s in-app purchase system.
Delete this section if the App has no paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
19. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by the App’s Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy should explain what data the App processes, what data is collected, whether data leaves the device, how exports work, how local Vision Pro pairing works, any third-party SDKs, retention practices, deletion rights, and contact details.
The App does not use face data for identity verification, advertising tracking, employment decisions, insurance decisions, or third-party profiling.
20. No Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
The developer does not warrant that the App will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with all devices, suitable for clinical use, suitable for treatment planning, suitable for cosmetic decision-making, or free from defects.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including damages related to emotional distress, appearance-related decisions, loss of data, loss of exports, device issues, local network issues, inaccurate visualizations, or reliance on App outputs.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, or rights that cannot be waived under consumer-protection law.
22. User Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, your unlawful export or sharing of content, or your use of another person’s face without consent.
This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer-protection law.
23. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete it from your device.
The developer may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or use the App in a way that creates legal, privacy, safety, or security risk.
Sections intended to survive termination, including intellectual property, privacy-related responsibilities, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and prohibited uses, will continue to apply.
24. Changes to the App or Terms
The developer may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Updates may add, change, or remove features, including AR visualization features, export features, or Vision Pro pairing features.
If changes are material, the developer may provide notice through the App, App Store listing, website, or other reasonable method. Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
25. Legal Compliance and Export Restrictions
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws when using the App.

Orthoface Terms of Use
Orthoface is an educational facial measurement and visualization app.
The app uses camera/ARKit/depth data to generate local 3D face mesh measurements, symmetry indicators, Marquardt-style overlay visualization, Golden Dodeca fit, φ-ratio calculations, 2D unwraps, perfect/corrected USDZ previews, and optional export ZIP files.

Orthoface is not a medical device. Local measurement workflow

These Terms of Use apply to PlaceMesh and PlaceMesh Viewer. By using the apps, the user agrees to use them responsibly and in accordance with these terms, the Apple App Store license terms that apply to the download, and all applicable laws.
1. License and permitted use
PlaceMesh and PlaceMesh Viewer are licensed, not sold. The apps may be used for local spatial visualization, AR surface capture, mesh preview, USDZ placement, QR-based shared-coordinate alignment, Apple Vision Pro immersive review, local peer transfer, and user-controlled export.
2. No medical, diagnostic, legal, safety, or certification use
The apps are visualization, education, research, spatial documentation, design-review, and prototyping tools. They are not medical devices and do not provide diagnosis, treatment, clinical recommendations, emergency guidance, structural certification, construction tolerance certification, legal compliance confirmation, or safety approval. Users must independently verify all results before relying on them.
3. Permission to scan and share
Users must only scan people, spaces, objects, confidential material, work sites, models, or files when they have appropriate permission. Users are responsible for complying with privacy, intellectual-property, workplace, institutional, safety, and local laws that apply to their use.
4. Measurement and model accuracy
AR tracking, QR alignment, scene reconstruction, skeleton-guided collection, mesh preview, USDZ rendering, device motion, lighting, and network conditions can affect accuracy. All measurements, distances, exported vertices, 3D meshes, and USDZ placements are provided for review assistance only. Users must verify scale and position with appropriate independent tools when accuracy matters.
5. Files, exports, and third-party content
Users are responsible for imported USDZ and other 3D files and for any exported content they create or distribute. The apps do not grant rights to third-party designs, copyrighted content, brand assets, scans, or models.
6. Apple Vision Pro connection
PlaceMesh Viewer may exchange processed scene data with PlaceMesh over a local peer-to-peer connection. The connection is intended for nearby user-controlled devices. Network availability is not guaranteed, and content may queue or fail if devices disconnect.
7. Privacy

8. Acceptable use
Users must not use the apps to invade privacy, capture restricted areas without permission, harass or track people, misrepresent measurements, distribute unauthorized models, or violate applicable laws.

Include device model, OS version, app build, feature used, whether the issue involved capture, USDZ load, QR alignment, local network sync, export, or Apple Vision Pro immersive mode, and steps to reproduce.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the apps are provided as-is and as-available. Orthopractis does not warrant that captured data, mesh output, measurements, USDZ rendering, QR alignment, local-network sync, or exports will be error-free or suitable for a particular use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orthopractis is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the apps.

Acceptance
Every time the app or app window is loaded, PlaceEasy asks you to review and accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy before the normal iOS AR or visionOS content opens. By tapping Yes — agree and open PlaceEasy for that launch, or by using PlaceEasy after acceptance, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, tap No — decline and close and do not use the app.
Purpose of the app
PlaceEasy is a local visualization and placement tool for USDZ, USD, USDA, USDC, and Reality files in iOS AR and visionOS immersive space. It provides visible rig controls: Cube A for position and Sphere B for direction/orientation.
The visionOS immersive space is intentionally kept clean. It contains only loaded files and their cube/sphere rigs. The normal PlaceEasy window remains the place for import, cleanup, workflow, settings, help, privacy, and terms.
Local file workflow
You choose files through the Apple system document picker. PlaceEasy copies supported files into local app storage so they can be displayed and managed by the app. You are responsible for deleting local copies when you no longer need them.
User files and rights
You are responsible for every file you import. You must have the rights and permissions needed to import, view, store, convert, display, and use each USDZ, USD, USDA, USDC, Reality, or FBX file. Do not import unlawful, infringing, confidential, unsafe, restricted, or unauthorized content.
FBX conversion
FBX files can be copied only as conversion/reference files. Native RealityKit rendering in this build requires USDZ, USD, USDA, USDC, or Reality files. Convert FBX files before expecting visible content in PlaceEasy.
Safe use
Use PlaceEasy only in safe physical spaces. Stay aware of real-world obstacles, people, stairs, vehicles, equipment, traffic, tools, cables, and other hazards. Do not use the app while driving, operating machinery, walking quickly, working at height, or performing tasks where virtual content could distract from safety.
Construction and professional use
PlaceEasy can be useful for visual design discussion, early construction coordination, training, client communication, layout review, and explaining component orientation. However, it is not a certified measuring instrument, surveying tool, construction approval system, engineering validation system, building-code compliance tool, safety compliance tool, or substitute for professional review.
Always verify dimensions, placement, installation, clearances, structural requirements, utilities, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements using approved drawings, calibrated instruments, qualified professionals, and site procedures.
Medical and safety-critical use
PlaceEasy is not a regulated medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, prevention, monitoring, clinical decision-making, surgical planning, navigation, or safety-critical use. Do not rely on PlaceEasy for medical, legal, engineering, safety, or emergency decisions.
Accuracy limits
3D placement accuracy depends on device tracking, lighting, surface visibility, model scale, model origin, exported axes, user calibration, sensor conditions, and environmental conditions. Cube/sphere handles improve usability and repeatability, but they do not guarantee measurement accuracy.
Validate all measurements and placements independently before relying on them.
App modifications
If you modify PlaceEasy to add accounts, analytics, cloud storage, subscriptions, medical claims, construction/engineering claims, server processing, support uploads, or third-party SDKs, you are responsible for updating the privacy policy, terms, App Store privacy answers, privacy manifest, support materials, and any required legal/regulatory declarations.
Third-party services
The support website may be hosted on Wix or another provider. Use of the website may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
No warranty
PlaceEasy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, business, revenue, profits, goodwill, safety, device functionality, project outcomes, construction decisions, or professional decisions arising from use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using PlaceEasy at any time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features where permitted by law.
Local file cleanup
The cleanup action is intended only for PlaceEasy local import copies. Users remain responsible for managing originals in Files, iCloud Drive, Downloads, external storage, or other apps.
Changes

By using VisionMeshCapture, you agree to these terms.
Purpose
VisionMeshCapture is provided for spatial mesh capture, visualization, construction documentation support, research, education, technical prototyping, design review, and 3D model alignment workflows.
Permitted uses
You may use VisionMeshCapture to:
preview selected reconstructed environment geometry;
tune capture settings in immersive space;
load and align USDZ or supported 3D models;
inspect mesh/color information where available;
export PLY, USDZ, CSV, JSON, and ZIP packages;
support documentation, visualization, and technical review workflows.
Prohibited or restricted uses
You must not use the app to:
scan or export private spaces without authorization;
capture bystanders, screens, documents, or restricted areas without permission;
make medical diagnosis, treatment, surgical, or clinical decisions;
make certified survey, safety, construction sign-off, regulatory, or legal determinations without independent approved tools;
violate applicable laws, privacy rules, workplace policies, or Apple terms.
Enterprise camera features
Enterprise main-camera features require a valid Apple-approved entitlement, license, provisioning profile, and supported device configuration. If these are unavailable, the app uses fallback mesh/classification capture.
Accuracy limitations
VisionMeshCapture does not guarantee reconstruction completeness, scale accuracy, alignment accuracy, color accuracy, export completeness, or suitability for any particular professional use. Results may vary based on tracking, lighting, surface material, environment, device state, selected thresholds, and camera availability.
Construction disclaimer
For construction and job-site use, VisionMeshCapture may support visualization and documentation, but it is not a certified surveying instrument, engineering sign-off system, safety-critical inspection tool, or regulatory compliance tool. Verify all outputs using approved professional methods.
Medical disclaimer
VisionMeshCapture is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, prevent, or cure any disease or condition and does not provide clinical recommendations.
User responsibility
Users are responsible for:
obtaining permission to scan spaces;
verifying exported data;
